nickeley102
The hours depend on what type of school (Ele, mid, high) The pay also depends, but in USA, usually isn't that good. Also, you work during the summer, don't think you don't. ;) (At least, the teachers do in VA) And in VA, kids are [wagon], but you can always refer em quick as a [bleep]. Principal is ahrd as a [bleep] to get also. Of coruse, this is all in USA, more specifically VA, and apparently you live in UK? may be better over there. i live in the southern hemisphere which means you get 8 weeks before the start of the school year without the thought of classes, marking or planning over summer. people always look back at school and think 'i must have really annoyed my teachers, i was such a cabbage hole' 'everyone hated teachers and treated them like cabbage'. in reality thats not the case, kids are good by nature and its very easy to have a laugh with them, it doesnt matter what area you are in. and noones teacher quit because kids were too mean, thats an urban myth that exists in every school

Uh, I'm pretty sure teachers get summers off in the U.S. too. I'm studying to be a History Teacher right now and that's one of the biggest perks I'm looking it for being a teacher. Lenticular_J
Teachers have shorter summers than students. Workshops, fixing up the rooms, all that jazz. Oh, and I've decided I want to piss and moan about other people wanting to follow their dreams because I don't. :twss: Seriously though. I don't have a clue. I just wanna be a hero! :twss: catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Tim_Finch
God knows what I'll be thinking 2 years from now, but I currently have 2 things in mind: 1. Enlist in the Air Force, something I've always wanted to do. I was originally thinking about applying to the Air Force Academy, but seeing as they're the #1 athletic school in the U.S., I think I'll stick to the ol' regular. My brother is in the Air Force, and he has it made. After this I'll try to move on to step 2. 2. Get in some sort of career in meteorology. I haven't thought about exactly what I want to do, but this is a field I'm constantly trying to learn more about at home. This, and I would love to get into storm chasing as a pastime. That would be the ideal life. But before all that I need to get thinking about a university. I'll probably go to Iowa State University, but that's all I got. Kill_Thomas9
Professional gamer  But seriously, even though that would be awesome, I'm planning on doing something either 1) quantum physics related (always been interested in that sort of thing) or 2) programming related. In the end, the first one would probably include some degree of the second one. Unfortunately I'm absolutely in love with music, and would love to do something music related, but I'm terribly untalented with my hands. I'm horrible a drawing. I have the worst hand writing of anybody who has ever written anything in history. My hands [often] get confused when trying to play guitar (even though I know exactly where to put my hands, the signal must get mixed up on the way from my brain to my hands). I also have incredible ears for music, and have excellent sense of pitch/frequency... but my voice sucks. I hate myself, lol. I'm also very smart when it comes to things math related (physics included) aside from geometry, which is just stupid theorems. I'm horrible at english and anything that has to do with writing. I'm also bad at history because I'm bad with names/dates. So I really don't know. I'm also very forgetful, which really hurts me in school. I try writing things down on datebooks, agendas, the back of my hand but to no avail :( I'm cursed with blessing and blessed with curses :wall: :wall:

tripsis
I'm in 12th grade right now, so hopefully this will be "coming true" soon :P I'd love to go to college in Australia, where my boyfriend lives. Not only because I want to be with him but also because I haven't liked any of the colleges in the US that I've looked at.. and I really like the University of Sydney. I'm thinking that I'd like to study Animal Science or maybe some something in art (but I really haven't thought about studying art much). I'm still trying to sell my parents on the idea though. They're not fond of me going to school in Australia to be with my boyfriend. But they WILL be changing their minds  :P - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

ThurinEthir
...I'll go live in a hut in the middle of the woods, thank you... A bit too early for me to decide, but I hope to (And most likely will...) go to college. I'd like to stay around the area (At least within New England, maybe New York), and there are plenty of great colleges here so it's not a huge problem. Like basically every other Asian kid here, MIT and Harvard top my list, chances aren't too high though. It's become clear that math is my main skill, and science to an extent (Physics, computer science, chem I guess). I'll probably head down that path and become some sort of engineer or something. stevepole
Lets see, I'm working towards a Film and Media Studies major (study of film theory) and hopefully I can do something along the lines of production in Film or TV, or my ultimate dream being a video game producer. If all else fails something along the lines of accounting because I have a weird liking for it. Or something related music industry would be cool.
