Exploit
Really? I wasn't aware that the only way to get to Canifis was through my POH. In fact, I must be really magical or something because I've found some really ancient and forgotten ways of traveling there, which incude an ectophial, ancient magicks teleport, slayer ring and even the most amazing of all...walking from Varrock!!! /Sarcastic response. You have no base of a discussion here. Logs do not equal barrows, though pvp equals barrows. So, yes, barrows will rise, but not because of the logs. And the logs will not rise because of the barrows. The logs will probably stay the same and/or drop in price. Thank god there are people around here like you to keep everyone straight!

Shadow93
mages want to get 94 magic or whatever so they buy a ton of yew/magic longbows to alch, so logs go up in price.. my guess

3hitm4g3u
What are your thoughts on the log economy, would it be the best time right now to invest in them? LOL.
Exodus_Flesh
Thats quite a stretch for two completely not related items.. Sure, many things will fluctuate after the PvP updates, as a result of other peoples speculation.. But that will always happen with any speculation. ~Zackdt
RichieMcD
Well when PvP reemerges more people will be wanting to alch to train mage without HP exp and as we all know the most common alchs are Yew and Magic longbows. There will be a much bigger demand for those logs and bowstrings meaning prices will go up. Other than that I can't see much reason for them going up in price. onuasdad
no comment on the barrows. This is extremely random- this can happen anytime. however, many, many peoplae are trying to make a profit by chopping/selling logs- this won't happen. Death should not be taken as 'the end,' but a very effective way to cut down taxes.
BloodArgon
By this logic, the demand for seeds should go up. It's really quite a simple process. PVP Updates will come out > Demand for rune weapons in f2p will go up >(P2p'ers will take advantage of this demand by selling rune weapons to the f2p'ers)> Demand for runite ore and coal will go up > Demand for pickaxes to mine the ores will go up > More people will want to finish Perils of Ice Mountain in order to make pickaxes > More people will need level 10 Farming > More people will need seeds. :| Or you just buy pickaxes from the dwarf since the price will never go above that, and thus the market have all the axes it needs, and no need to do perils of ice mountain. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
decebal
This is pretty much a worthless thread tbh. OF COURSE stuff is going to rise yp in price, everything will with such a huge demanding update like PVP.

davidium
whatever link there is between the log economy and PvP, if there is one in the first place, will be so minor that it will have a negligible effect on log prices...i can't tell if you are serious, joking, or just trying to manipulate the log economy  maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
