Erm yes but you wouldn't get as much exp There is an altar so you can melee protect...? Guthans is nice for healing there, but yeah, not camping in it :-# If you have 68 summon bunyip has never let me drop below ~70 HP though, using prossy. Also melee protect isn't such a good idea because it means you run up to the altar alot more frequently, sorta annoying over time. I think I heard somewhere that armoured demons may or may not also use range attacks? Is this true? You mean zombies right? They do range. If you arn't AFKing, you will learn which ones attack with what style. If, say, you have higher defense(90+) or bunyip, then you can just Piety through the whole thing. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. T. Skill
The title should be Melee Training, not combat training. Since melee is only one form of combat and it's the only one mentioned. bedman
Nice guide man. So apperantly, I can survive with a bunyip, piety, and just proselyte, right? I was also wondering wether void is worth it. I have a unicorn so food shouldnt be a problem (or is it?), but the lower prayer bonus might make it worse. Salad
Q: Why did you write this guide anyways? Now it will be so crowded there now! A: It won't be crowded, because you don't have to be in highly populated world to train there. Any world does good, even world with ~90 players lol. This r lies! As crowded as bandits if not more. I tried german and french worlds and loads of english worlds with no success and I can't go in PvP because when I recharge prayer I'm gonna get pilled by ancienters (I know it by experience -.-) If I leave the crowd situation, this guide owns. I would use it if ONLY I could find a world.

Cooldude3910
So wouldn't it be better to use Full Void Melee than the armor setup in the first post?
Owned_Nex
So wouldn't it be better to use Full Void Melee than the armor setup in the first post? Well, that setup is for praying. If you use Void, then you must go up more, thus reducing your EXP. Void also has less Defense, so rangers might snipe you after a kill. If you have higher prayer(70+) then you can probably use void. Any less and you'd be running up and down the ladder. if you have 90+ Def, 80+ Prayer, and a Bunyip, you can tank with Void using Piety the whole time. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. llamster
Is Dharok's any good for these? Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
nicrune007
Is Dharok's any good for these? Don't think so, Whip outhits dharok, since they have pretty low defense. You are gonna be semi-afk when training here, risky to get your hp low. No prayer bonus from armour. There are melee and ranger version, so you can't 1hp dharok them. baalboy5
I actually been using this spot, I gotten about 3m xp overall there. Its a really good spot Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

Dharok's effectiveness doesn't come from its accuracy, since the greataxe has like only 5 more slash attack than whip+defender. Anyway I looked the zombies up and they only have 85hp, so dharok's probably wouldn't work well.
