a7x_fan_4eva
If not firemaking, fletching would be a good skill to start. From 75-99 make yew longs and i think you still profit from them, so you will make money for another 99 instead of losing it. To get from 52-75, make maple shortbows (u) until 55, then your best bet would be to make maple long bows (u) to 75. You will lose something like 700k or so, but will make money back getting 75-99 and the longs (u) will aquire a nice bit of junk if you ever need it. 14 Skills at 99 All Skills 85+ 2370+ Total 3058 Glacor Kills 326 Shards of Armadyl 1 Ragefire 1 Glaiven 2 Steadfast 33 Effigys 17 Abyssal Whips 5 Staff of Light 5 Dark Bows 40 Dragon Boots 16 Polypore Sticks62 Barrow Items 6 Pharah Sceptres 117 Effigys
Ouchy
If you make approxiamately another 2 Million Gold Pieces, then you could try and go for Fire Making, which would be one of the easiest, you most tedious 99 to get. You could also try Hunter, Wood Cutting, Fishing and Fletching as well. Good luck  My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. RayOxide
I obviously hate 99 fletching as a first skill, but noone knows how to train the damn thing. Go with firemaking anyday. the cape and emote look 10x better I dont need a siggy no moar.
AlexDT
Agility just costs a couple million coins in food and perhaps energy potions, but it isn't very easy. Then again, it'll save you a ton of time when training other skills... But I'd probably say firemaking, in terms of time and money.
cat666
Cooking is cheap. In the current climate it will be cheaper still as people are buying up lobsters for PK'ing. Cape is kinda cool. Fletching should net you money still, especially with people training mage again for PKing (Teleblock ftw). Sell the bows on the forums though. Use maple longbow (u) to yew longs and then make yew longbows and sell to alchers. Use the maples for junk. Firemaking is tedious, I have 99 cooking and fletching but firemaking is far more boring than them. With cooking and fletching you can semi-afk to chat to friends but you don't have this with firemaking. I've had 99 banked for over 6 months but am still a long way off 99. I would put off other 99's until you've done an easy one as you have no idea how much work it actually requires. 92 is halfway to 99 :( Trust the Gene Genie! D Jay99
I would put off other 99's until you've done an easy one as you have no idea how much work it actually requires. 92 is halfway to 99 :( Or do a hard one first and make the others seem easy :P I'd suggest you go for a skill you enjoy. If you don't have any skills you particulary like, just go for cooking, fletching or firemaking, as those are the fastest.
ilovecardj
Too many people with untrimmed cooking/fletching/fm capes these days. Dont get a cape to "be cool" its just a waste of time. these capes do nothing for you at all. get a combat cape or something rare/useful like farming/rc/agility cape and you will get more respect. though untrimmed str capes are common and ugly imo Just my thoughts, dont hate on me :P Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning
ladycai
fm capes have awesome emotes, but fletching capes are faster. Youd on't have enough for cooking; other than that if you want to buy your way, fletching's the best path for you. PLus, you'll make some money along the way. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
slaytanicc
No Offense, but none of your stats are even near good enough to start thinking about a 99. Set yourself smaller goals at first. Maybe get all your skills to 70+ first, then see which ones you enjoyed most. Choose one or two of them and get them to 90+ and then choose one to get to 99..... Going from 50 to 99 is a huge leap and i can bet you will never complete the goal in one stretch. |Tip.it's TOP F.o.G player|Current Goals: 95STR/95ATK/95RANGED|
skillerman84
I would go for Firemaking. Needed: Normal::323,506--8,087,650gp Oak::215,971--5,183,304gp Willow::143,781--2,588,058gp Teak::123,241--11,338,172gp Maple::95,854--3,546,598gp I reccomend Maples, because they are very fast (200k xp/hr) but you'll need to make some more money. Willows are near your price range but those take forever (don't know xp/hr). (Near price range, not reccomended)(Not near price range, reccomended) Btw:You're luccky, I was in a good mood so I decided to figure it all out for you. Tim
in my opionion, dont get raveled up in the whole skillcape crap. im 109 and i dont even have a skill cape let alone a skill in thr 90's yet. enjoy the game for what it is. but if your realy keen and WONT back out of it try fletching or hunter. i'd personally say hunter since you make quite a good sum to 99 and you dont spend any getting 99 (besides 10k for traps etc) Popoto.~<

RayOxide
I'd have to ... sorta agree with dark there. But if you do go for a 99, hunter is a great one. Not too many people have it, you make nice money for say, more 99s, and some more cash along the way I guess. If you're impatient you shouldnt go for it though. It can be boring, AND annoying I dont need a siggy no moar.
cat666
Why do you want a cape for? In my opinion there are 3 reasons: 1. Stat boosts 2. Looks 3. Kudos 1. From a personal point of view I wanted a 99 (infact 2) purely for the stats. I couldn't give a monkeys if you think the fletching cape is nooby, it still boosts my stats. Yes if I had a slayer cape I would wear that instead but the truth is from a stats perspective there is difference between capes. Plus for a skiller a 2 99' stats are easier than the Fire Cape, the only cape better. 2. Looks only really matter to the vainest of players. Sure it's nice having a white cape with prosteylte armour but a green one doesn't really matter. As for the emotes, they are just a bonus. 3. Kudos is a funny thing. In a way you shouldn't care what people think of you, but then there is no better feeling when another player is in awe of your stats. A cape shows this off nicely. So which cape to go for? If you prefer: 1. Stick to easy ones, fletching, cooking, firemaking and quest. 2. Depends on your gear, most colours feature across 2 capes but the logos are obviously different. This one is down to you. 3. Slayer, RC, Construction, Prayer, Summoning, Farming and Herblore are the main kudos capes. the rest won't get you as much. Cooking, fletching, quest and firemaking are deemed pretty nooby by most player (although I don't agree, 99 shows commitment whatever skill it is) Trust the Gene Genie! RayOxide
But cat, people look down on those 3 because they know they're cheap, and extremely easy to get. There's no real dedication to a skill you can easily buy. And you forgot to add hitpoints and construction. Construction may be easy to get but its just so expensive :| I dont need a siggy no moar. Construction may be easy to get but its just so expensive :| My point is it doesn't matter if they are cheap and easy to get. They are still an acheivement cape, with the same stats as the others. Now if he wants it for kudos, then he needs to be looking at the more expensive/harder capes. My friend is making her first 99 farming, purely for this reason. If he wants the stats then why not make it easier on himself? Trust the Gene Genie!
obfuscator
If he wants a cape to be respected, then he might as well go for a "good" one. I don't agree with this, but MOST people don't respect woodcutting, fletching, cooking, or firemaking. :( "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

RSBDavid
could train combat and get 99 attack, str,defense.hp. and slayer at the same time. IMHO, You should get a cape in a skill you like rather then an easy skill.
