Kind of price manipulation or more like the rumor of the rich merchants buying up alot of items causing a major crash. I prefer riding the market waves myself I find it more difficult,rewarding, and fub. Watching the forums and the GE is so ftw and it makes you feel smart when you guess a wave correctly and make 5M+ in 1 day.

Meh, I bought sara 160 bracers once (by accident, I had an offer in before GE update, and forgot to put it out after it) for around 380k each. Sold all now for 190k each, a +- 30M loss. Got enough of bracers now...

Very nice, I do the same things but I'm restricted to free to play items. There aren't any good items there that members would desperately buy for max, so the income for me is significantly lower.

 

 

 

The big thing with GE merchanting is that the rich people never reveal their secrets or whatever item it is that they're reselling; the more people that know about it, the less profit that merchant is going to gain.

Are you only able to buy 10 every 4 hours now?

They allow GE merchanting, they won't stop this any time soon, and they've already limited with the 4 hour rule and how many you can buy at one time.

Of course they allow it or it wouldn't be done so blatantly.

That's a very good idea but now that your secret is out and you can't tie up the market anymore cause you can only buy every 4 Hours and you can't sell the same item you bought until 4 hours after you bought it.

 

 

 

But it's a good idea, I do something pretty similar to this in F2p.

Nice method, I just used to sit in Falador merchanting barrows armour, I aint godsmackling rich or anything, and I think the prices have plummeted since Ive been off RS so I'd have to get accustomed to all the prices again before doing any kind of buying and selling of any items :wall:

For some reason I have lots of success making money in other mmorpgs, but in RS it's like I'm cursed or something. Maybe someday... :

Wouldnt work as you can only buy 4 TT items per 4 hours now.

I find it pretty funny the people that do this think it's some kind of highly guarded secret. Almost any remotely RS savvy person knows about this. It's just most of them don't do it!
