Oh, well, I didn't notice that. And it would be fine if the perk made the deaths extravagant, but from what I've seen the new deaths aren't that great. Can someone describe some of the deaths from experience?

This short video sums it up quite nicely. Essentially it will turn a headshot from a head falling off to a shock wave exploding their entire body.

I deleted this game from my hard drive awhile back but now I want to play it again. I just don't want to go through the 10 hours or so of gameplay I put into it to get back to where I was. Can anyone...well... upload a save file of theirs for me  ?

Nvm, I just found some nice save games on fallout3nexus.

There's a town far north that has Deathclaws all over it. You should go there.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

So, what's the best weapon in all of your inventories? Named weapons are probably the best (The Terrible Shotgun, Firelance, Experimental MIRV, Fisto!), although I don't have any...I still need to explore more of the Wastes to make it easier to get these great weapons and to start lots of quests.

...Gauss Rifle... :(

Operation: Anchorage! Is it awesome? That rifle is awesome, I know that, but don't you get to fight in a large-scale battle against the Chinese military?

Like I've said before, its O.K., it takes only a couple of hours to complete, has decent rewards, but it isn't worth the $10, thats why I just gave my friends the bsa archives to put in their data folders so they could see for themselves. I love the Chinese Stealth suit, though, and the T-51 B armor isn't bad, but the Gauss Rifle is easily the best reward.

Also, it is just a simulation, not based off of the real fight--it was used to train military users for Anchorage. So it probably isn't even near the large military conflict you're hoping for. :/ In fact, the largest conflict you get into in Anchorage would be fighting the General and defeating him...

Its too bad too. Now, I have to wait for the Pitt, which I hope comes out near my birthday, the 7th of March. I'm pretty sure that will be fun.

Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D

In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)

Oh gawsd the Chinese Stealth Armor is awesome. I use it on my evil character and gave the T-51b armor to Charon.

Ooh, the Pitt. Post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh. I hope they give us the entire city to fool around in. Speaking of which, how much of Anchorage are you given access to, anyway?

Its not said. You scale some mountains, climb some oil pipelines, enter their facilities, then the simulation transports you to your base, where another humongous pipe is, you command a team through another facility and on some land, beat up commies, eventually get to an oil refinery facility, then win and exit. Speaking of commies, were the hell was Liberty Prime? Whenever I remember Anchorage, I remember that!

But yeah, I guess its fun the first time through. Or last, considering you can't go through again without starting a new profile or reverting back to an older save.

Speaking of that, Liberty Prime: if I complete the quest with this guy, that's it? Apparently, the game ends, and I can't start again unless I load another save. What the hell? What kind of an ending is that? I know one of the producers said the people who completed the game would be able to access their accounts for The Pitt and Broken Steel or whatever, but no more Wastes after that point?

Well, uh, yeah...Um...Can't explain why you don't continue unless I spoil it, so if you really want to know, I'll hide it for you.

[hide=Ending Spoiler]The reason why you can't continue: You die saving project purity, or poisoning it with John Henry Eden's FEV, or you let the facility explode. So no matter what, you die.[/hide]

So save before going with Liberty Prime, and when you beat the game, revert to that save. Voila.

Broken Steel will just alter the ending with a twist so you can complete the game and continue after the main quest. At the moment, all you can do is revert to an older save.

[hide=]I know there was some point about sacrificing yourself or another. I don't want to know more, though, but that would explain it.[/hide]

I wish I could have that quest beat on my account. That's going to be annoying. Oh well.

I did the Oasis quest last night. It was pretty cool, but I couldn't to get that charm at the end that raises your Speech or something to 10 points, like a Bobblehead. I sided with Harold, though, and got that nice perk.
