evil_mumm_ra Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 god the experimental mirv is so full of win. 8 mini nukes shot at a time lol. i got the achievement for killing all the behemoths with it. i only needed 2 more anyway. also finishing up a few of the last quests before i actually go and beat the game. 97 hours in so far. anyone know how many locations there are on the map? i think i've found 149 or 150 or something, which i think is all of them. it's disappointing cause there were so many more in oblivion, and that means i'll be running out of things to loot soon. edit: finally went through and did the last part of the game. went through all good that time. was pretty cool, but somewhat disappointing. and i stood at the end trying to remember the code for project purity. then i was like duh. and figured it out. time to do an evil one i guess for those achievements. then a neutral >.> honestly, does anyone else hate achievements like that? i certainly do. especially 3 achievements per good/evil/neutral. that's just annoying imo. oh, i think my final save was around 98 or 99 hours, lol. A bunch of angry insane fanboys who are angry that Bethesda didn't make the game EXACTLY like Fallout 1 and 2. I highly recommend NOT going there, they are completely insane (with the exception of a few who enjoy the game). I mean, the hated Fallout 3 before it even came out. :wall: One question from the forum drove me to ask it here. Do any of you think Fallout 3 will be memorable? Will it be treasured by many who enjoy the game and love it? What do you guys think? Personally, I think so. The Wasteland is well done, and while it's not exactly like Fallout 1 & 2--I liked both, but I have to admit I thought the combat was dreadful--and the freedom in Fallout 3 is awesome too, especially VATS. On the NMA forums, they don't think it will be memorable--the insane members, anyway--but if you read some of their posts, it sounds like they never even freaking played the game. And the accuse you of ignorance for liking it, etc...Chrissake, it's a battle ground there. I mean, they complained about being unable to shoot a rat in the [bleep]. Seriously. They complained about being unable to shoot and kill children. They complained about being unable to kill main quest NPC's, and being unable t deny the main quest and failing the game automatically. It's unbelievably ridiculous how much they nit pick. Kinda reminds me when I was a fanboy--but Jesus, they are terrible! So, what do you think of these people? :lol: On a side note, I've been having too much fun with the Alien Blaster--and listening to the music from that Fallout 3 LE CD. I love this game. I mean, in endgame, the only 'hard' enemies I encountered were deathclaws (take a whopping 2 or 3 shots to kill) and behemoths (no comment) and all else was pressing V, clicking on the head twice and going on :wall: . Well, it's not really even the true end game yet. There's loads of DLC planned, even after the 3 that are coming out. You probably aren't playing on very hard, which makes things harder. It still takes me two shots to kill a rad-roach, I am only level 10 but still. In fact, it makes it so hard Deathclaw can kill you in one strike, depending on your level. They decided to go ahead with the launch because they didn't believe the RROD would be that big of a problem that it turned out to be, not to save money. Obviously it wasn't about making production cheaper, they wanted to be the first next gen console on the market.
