November 3, 200817 yr The princaple says that this was not do to any religiouse matter What other reason would he have been sent home for then? There is nothing else, other than religion, Jesus is related to. I find it funny that stuff like this would happen. The kid should've dressed as a blasphemous version of jesus, now that would've been pretty good. Get a 2 girl classmates to dress as prostitutes? That would be pretty funny, while Jesus guy walks around with a empty bottle of beer and a unlit cigar for effect?
November 3, 200817 yr He should have dressed as Fat Jesus. Command the Murderous Chalices! Drink ye harpooners! drink and swear, ye men that man the deathful whaleboat's bow- Death to Moby Dick!BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
November 3, 200817 yr Uhh. Yeah, people do. How could you be offended by an image if you don't know what it looks like. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
November 3, 200817 yr I got kicked out of homeroom for dressing up as the Diabeetus guy. :? People just like to wine and [bleep] about everything these days, get over it. For those that don't know who he is- I even had several pillows stuffed under my shirt to make myself look fat. :( The game.
November 3, 200817 yr I like the kid's nerve to dress up as Jesus at a school. We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
November 3, 200817 yr I like the kid's nerve to dress up as Jesus at a school. my friend claims to be the reincarnation of jesus. and he thinks he really is. but hes a satanist. and he swears at priests and religious people alot. its funny.
November 3, 200817 yr just because you're unique doesn't make you useful. principal saved this kid's [wagon] from the beating he would've gotten on the way home from school. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

I don't think I've ever heard of someone getting beaten for dressing up like Jesus. Does this happen often? I'm American, so maybe this is common in some 3rd world country that no one has heard of? To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

November 4, 200817 yr Should've played the jedi card and said he was Qui-Gon Jin, aka Jesus Christ Jedi knight. Compare a picture of the two sometime. If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.
November 4, 200817 yr The thing you need to understand is that the debate is not in if Jesus existed, but if he really did these things. It's historically proven that he existed. That means he was a person. What he looked like as a person we only have artists impressions, hence the stereotypical Jesus. But I think it's a pretty safe bet that he wasn't a Mudkip. What? :-s I never knew that putting a mudkip on your head would make you non-existent. Besides, Jesus lived so long ago that you can't for certain say he never had a mudkip on his head. November 4, 200817 yr as found in http://wcbstv.com/seenon/jesus.halloween.costume.2.853729.html a thirteen year old boy was sent home from school for dressing as jesus christ for halloween. The princaple says that this was not do to any religiouse matter but i'm sure that if someone dressed as buda or any other diety that this wouldn't have happened. Should this have been allowed? So, why was he sent home? Any other (acceptable) reason? "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
November 4, 200817 yr Evidently the principal was a strong Christian, and probably saw this as sacreligious for some stupid reason. I don't understand why religion sparks such a silly response. I used to be religious, now I am not. Atheism, in my eyes, is more rational. Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
November 4, 200817 yr still better then the kid at my school who dressed as osama bin laden and ran down the hal yelling "allah allah allah"
November 5, 200817 yr Of course it should be allowed, it was just a Halloween costume. Noticed in your signature that you didn't have the most common spelling mistake of grammar: 'grammer' WiccanAndProud (My skills aren't accurate ... Grr)

If he was sent home just because he dressed up as Jesus, then we really need to re-think what kids get dressed up as. I mean, it's alright to dress up as the Grim Reaper or some demon incarnate, but not Jesus? Where's the logic in that? #-o Linux User/Enthusiast | Full-Stack Software Engineer | Stack Overflow Member | GIMP User...Alright, the Elf City update lured me back to RS over a year ago.
