I bought my first r2h for 750k, which took forever to put up in the trade menu. I was pkin in the wild, and an archer ranged a 12 on me.. I attacked him, and it skulled me (before ranging bug was fixed)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I didn't realize i was skulled until I was about halfway to draynor... :cry:

Best memories were the first time i played, my friend came over and was like oi play runescape so i tried it and didnt get off for ages. Soon finaly managing to gather 10 gold i had a look around alkarid and i remember finaly going to varroc

Anyways it was when you could change your pass ingame...dunno if there was members back then :? Anyway, A guy named Patrick(numbers) was talknig to me and asked my stats then asked me to follow him.. So i did and he bought me full mith with a mith short sword :cry: And then he helped me through Cooks assistant and i never saw him ever again :cry:

when i started rs in like 2002 i had to get my frend top help me out of the tutorial, then like 1-2 months l8r i was SOOOO happy when i had 50k, then my friend stole ALL my stuff, 50k, full addy, [cabbage] like that :(

I've choosen to be an 'adventurer' instead of ranger, miner and something like that.

 

 

 

I was playing in school, libraries, internet caffes, my daddies job place (hh), everywhere where internet connection was plugged in ;)

 

 

 

My dreams were simple:

 

 

 

1- to get internet to my home

 

 

 

2- earn a rune set (best way, ofcourse, was kill chickens 4 feathers and selling 'em 10ea)

 

 

 

3- become a level 46. Don't know why but 46. Liked that number. Also wanted to be highest of my classmates :oops:

ah i played rs prob a few months after it came out like old school rs before there was falador. i remember myfriend did romeo and juliet quest for me and i was so lost. i would collect daggers in gob hut, sell at sword shop til i had about 10k, bought some armor and trained on men. after a few years of quitting and playing i managed to get to combat 97 with 82 hp..the highest out of any of my classmates which was my goal. but then i got banned and started a new character...so much for that now as they closed F2p

It is the end of an era.... RSC Members only. RSC has always been free. Even when they were BETA testing it... I really hope that JAGeX bring it back. I started playing on RSC, but later moved onto RS2. So many memories...

i miss the old days where we had battles at the axe hut or the pirate hut and every1 was over 100 this was in like early 2003 , u would gather some friends and head out against big names like robin hood, wild flowers, nitestalker, maniac and just fight ur heart out, they were battles that went on till the wee hours of the morning till we were outta food lol those were my favourite days where pking would be fun and last for hours, and was pretty profitable.

My first day in RuneScape was very funny, after a few hours ( :lol: ) i've finished the tutorial, and then i started to kill cows... and after a few weeks i thought, hmm why is my prayer so low ( it was 4 ) till i asked my friend, how do u train prayer? He said, u can't train it, u need to be friendly to the rs gods and go to the church :lol: . I was like ok, i went to church, till my rl friend asked what r u doing *? I was like, training prayer, he said u need to bury bones!! :lol: I was like, ok and i started burying, and look now, i'm still 41 :lol: 8)

i remember playing rsc when rs2 was beta and cowing all night and getting lost and trying to remember where to go

The First few things i remember were, making my first char a miner.

 

 

 

going to rimmington to mine copper tin and clay.

 

 

 

on the news headlines read they made lvl restrictions on armor.

 

 

 

paid about 1mil for r2h

 

 

 

mined iron for smackattack

 

 

 

christmas drop got a yellow party hat from friend

 

 

 

mine iron most of the time in dwarven mine.(that place use to have lots of ppl, watched lots of low lvls get attack by lvl 36 king scorp and hiding behind the iron rocks)

 

 

 

meet lots of friends there (some still played)

 

 

 

got my first stat to 99 in rsc(cooking).

 

 

 

brought a green phat, traded in for blue and cash(sold cooked lobs and brought raws, back then they were 2k for each raw lobs certificate in bulk).

 

 

 

trained in front of the green dragon where skels were (watched dragon slayers get killed and telegrabbing their stuff thru the windows)

 

 

 

got scammed first time(traded my steel bars for silver bars :D, Hey they were almost the same color)

 

 

 

Woodcutting and firemaking in lumbridge forest(back then there wasnt any special trees so wc a tree gave 124exp and fm 128exp :D)

 

 

 

Doing my first quest(cooks assistant) followed by sheep shearer

I remember back on Mika V few highlights, first time I hit 10, first time I hit 12 :P

 

 

 

then I remember fishing like crazy to get rune square ( I think it was 600 raw lob certs back then ) and remember buying rune battle axe...and hitting 16's with it !!!!!!!

 

 

 

The other thing is I bought rune kite for like rune square, rune large, 3k chaos 5k fires and 1k natures and other runes, 100k money or something, it was crazy

 

 

 

Then I bought r2h for b axe and rune kite :P then after I got it I remember hittin 20's natural....it was so cool :wink:

 

 

 

First time I started doing real pking was with rune battle axe and square after I had got r2h I saved money for pking stuff, so I started pking, After a while I got bored of b axe and started doing r2h, I run into Amd AKA Unbeaten and hit him 19 20 dead, got full rune and r2h and gave him back full rune and rune long :P sold r2h back to him for mil

i remember when i made my acc 4 years ago... You get to choose to be warrior, mage, ranger, adventurer, or miner before. I chose warrior and i started killing goblins and selling iron daggers(spawns in goblin house) goblin armors and bronze squares(goblin drops) to the general store goblin armor was 16gp minumum bronze sq was 20 somethin and iron dags was 12 each. Did that for 3 months got like 30 levels and 13k lol :lol:

heh these are fun to read... well first char i made ever was before the tut! :o i remember keep getting lost... and stuff like that i didnt know where a bank was for like 3 weeks till some1 showed me then i was super sad cuz i couldnt get back to lumby ( back then i thought that lumby and the bank were the only places.. lol im suck a nooby :P ) then i ended up dying from dark wizzy i saved up for full iron and a iron battle at about level 35 lol , then i got hacked cuz i had an obvios pass... then i kept playing saved up for full addy .. around level 50 i went in wildy with full addy no1 could hit me cuz of my amour i thought i was the greatest guy ever, then some pure 3 hit me for full addy i swear i almost cried lol :x

- The biggest update ever: when item banks came out, the wildy was born, and you couldn't pk anyhwhere

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- The time back in '02 when I changed my password to "f-16fighter" in RS not knowing you couldn't type hyphens so unknowingly it became "f16fighter". I couldn't lof on for 6 monthes, then I made a guy called f-22 and I noticed I couldn't say his name in RS... When I logged back on trapical I almost cried, I was re-united with my long lost friend :wink:

The first memeory i have is my friend leading me around to do the ghosts speak quest. I remember him leading me into varrock (world 1) and i couldnt believ the amount of people.

I was around the level 45 mark, full addy, diamond ammy, rune long, and 60k, all gone. Some guy gave me a lobster cert, I thought that was pretty choice, and he told me he was giving his character away. And asked if I'd like it. I thought that was also pretty choice, haha. It was level 60-ish. So I stuck that stuff I had listed there on that character with the help of my mate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the guy that gave me the char was sneaking around in the shadows on a noob character, kinda like gollum, and saw the stuff I got from my mate. Then jumped back on the character and ran off... That was the first and last time I got scammed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And when I first started, I never hung out in Lumb, I went straight to Falador (is that right, been over a year since I played propperly), and trained there, my mate had been playing for two weeks when I started, so he showed me the ropes. I met some cool dudes there, who quit while I was still playing. The mates you make as a noob are way cooler then the mates you make when your loaded and a high level. When I first started, I didn't know you just held down on the money and it would go fast, I just used to click it real fast, so even giving someone 200gp took aaaaages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I had been playing for about, two-three weeks when I found 54k on the ground. Some guy, to this day, I still don't know why, attacked the level 16 Blue Wizard just outside of Falador, with one-three hp left. He got KO'd, and me and only one other guy went running for his pile. I scored the 54k, and gave 4k to the other guy that went for the pile. His name was Scoutz0r, later made a new char called P W N 3 D, me and him were mates since then.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had quit for about six months, just before I quit, I bout a white party hat for 50k, and traded a rune hatchet for a green party. When I returned they were up around the 400k-1mill mark. I was wearing my green party, and some guy with a pink said "I'll trade my pink for your green" (I didn't know what any of them were worth, P W N 3 D had just filled me in that they were worth heaps now, and he was standing next to me when the guy asked (I didn't know pink was worth alot more then the rest)) so I said "No way, pink is for girls!" and P W N 3 D said "You idiot, they're worth xmill!!" (Forgot how much they were at the time). So I went back and told him I had changed my mind, he didn't know pink was worth so much, once the trade was done, he started asking questions about why I changed my mind, so I told him, and he wanted to trade back, so I told him to do his homework before trading...

First time I hit a 10, which was in one of the gangs headquarters, I think it was the black arm gang, best place to train at the time, haha. Using a rune long there, r2h's were around 800k-1mill at the time I think, much too expensive for me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is when I stayed up all night to get 50 crafting, started from around level 10 crafting... So sad, staying up all night to get that, lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is when I got 800 skill total, mostly f2p, theres a couple p2p skills there from when i had members for three months, but I used the pay by bank wire transfer, and it took like a month to actually get the members, by then I was kinda sick of waiting, so when it finally came, I couldn't be bothered playing..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is when i got 75 cooking, no more burning lobsters! (Notice the lack of pink party hat) I traded it for 2k raw lobster certs and cooked them all. I did that when pink was worth 2mill, so if I was quick enough and cooked all the certs fast enough, I could buy a pink back, and have 2mill spare. But thats not the way I work, it took me a couple of weeks to get it all cooked, and by then, pink was at around 6mill... Good thing I still had a white party.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First time seeing someone "famous". I was saying to my mate Bentooned, I just took a screenshot, he replied with "Already did", haha, so lame, famous people on runescape... We were the runescape paperazi haha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is around the time when I invested in a pure pk'er, his name was "Pure Bobshoy" (my first main character was Bobshoy before I made Iluvpetrol), he was a mighty strange character, three defence (due to lag), around seven magic, and 10 prayer I think, 40 attack, and 50 strength I think he had. But somehow, he owned, haha. This is the first r2h kill I had actually gotten a picture of, all the others I was too nervous, and grabbing all the stuff, and shaking to remember to take a pic :lol:, the adrenaline rush.. Thats also kinda sad, haha.

 

 

 

I used to stand in the wildy with a myth 2h, usually liked to be skulled, but this time I wasn't, and someone would attack me, and I would start trying to run, get attacked again, run, then eat, pot, whip out the r2h, and unleash hell. In this instance, the guy was going around, calling people noobs, and attacking them, then he came up to me and said your next.. He couldn't have been more wrong.

 

 

 

Saw him a week later, and he asked for his stuff back, no dignity..

i did EVERYTHING u can for a rune long, collected like 4k fire runes for 1, lost it in 1 day, the sword... and for many times ive been scammed like 50k and stuff :(
