NOTE: This will be a long essay, so please bear with me ;) Please do not flame/spam or do anything immature. The long essay is part of my achievement. Also try not to post anything related to "The people" in my essay, as that will lead to flaming or spaming.

 

 

Goal: Become highly experienced with TzTok-Jad

 

 

 

After i got my 6 Fire capes using, i have become excited about killing TzTok-Jad. I updated+revamped my Prayer Switching Guide, which the link to it can be found in my signature :

 

 

 

Anyhow as i got the capes with ranged, i decided to do "The Way of Warrior" which is my way of combat in Runescape. So i made up a simulation training for prayer switching using melee, but before i did the final training i made a thread here on TIF at Help and Advice. The thread got spammed by some people that disliked me. They used negative influence to try ruin my thread (I asked for help and i got interrogated..). I won't name them, but one said "If your gonna make guide you should know about it well". This was similiar phrase to what he/she said and he/she said it with a "lol", meaning i am in-experienced and my guide is not good enough. Because my thread was about some more info about TzTok-Jad's melee attack (since i was gonna melee him). Well i made my training method later and i went for melee-ing TzTok-Jad with a whip and rune defender. It was my first time, and i did great and he died fast (Did not record it, forgot #-o ).

 

 

 

Now why am i saying this? Those people disliked me, and i wanna just do the "In Your Face" line. Being sarcastic or using world "lol/Rofl" is a sign of disrespect to me. But i am not that paranoid that i believed those people disliked me just from that first moment, i have had alot other posts from them (They are known to me) from previously threads.

 

 

 

But, to you that i am talking about let me repeat what i said back then, my guide clearly says "Prayer Switching Guide for TzTok-Jad" and not "Prayer Switching Guide for Ranging/;eleeing TzTok-Jad". Hell, even Muggi who's made the excellent AOW Fight Cave guide has not made a section for meleeing TzTok-Jad! Most players do Fight cave for cape and the good achievement and very few of us do TzTok-Jad with melee.

 

 

 

Now that's off my chest let's get to the result shall we?

 

 

 

I have become greatly experienced with TzTok-Jad. I went for TzTok-Jad 8 times for my goal. I will only say i used melee, and you can figure out what i used for weapon. I want to keep quiet, as video will show it all. I myself am excited and i achieved a goal that i did not set for myself!

 

 

 

Attempt 1-5: Disconnected during 20-40+ Waves and got killed or logged out of Fight Cave

 

Attempt 5-7: Disconnection at TzTok-Jad.

 

Attempt 8: Is what you will see a video of how it went.

 

 

 

I know, my connection stinks big time. But i don't give up on such exciting goal. I had fun, but my connection got me frustrated :twisted:

Very nice job, however I have seen better. I know that it was a goal of yours so I will say great job and maybe try to kill him next time. I don't know if you have ever watched the youtube videos of people using ags and vengance but that could give you an idea as they kill him in like 5 seconds.

The guy who used AGS+VEG is called Murder. Correct me if i am wrong, but isn't his record killing jad in 15 secs?

Since this is 2nd post. I will explain about the fight.

 

 

 

The Fight

 

I started attacking TzTok-Jad and was surprised how accurate i was with Dharok. I had 120 attack+piety when attacking but i didn't expect to damage TzTok-Jad that fast.

 

 

 

Anyhow as healers came, i realize they healed very fast. I did not expect him to be healed that fast. But my goal was: to Dharok TzTok-Jad with 1-5 hp. That did not happend, but i was at 15 HP, and i did still manage fine.

 

 

 

So you can ask yourself "If SirHemen dealed with the healers before he Dharok Jad, would he make it?" the answer is yes. But i will going for another attempt with sucess.

Yeah, well as you can see i tried to use TzTok-Jad to get to 1-5 hitpoints. But he hit me little, so i reached only 15 hitpoints with rock cakes and zamorakbrew+the liquid from digsite quest. :oops:

Does veng work with you using prayer or do you have to get hit? Because i was thinking to have 1-5 hitpoints next time and if i have to get hit before veng works then i can't do it. But was wondering it maybe was like Guthan at barrows: that he heals for what damage he would hit you when you pray.

Newbcake. The_murder21 did it in 11 seconds. He was so leet he didn't even mess with the healers. He just smacked a few 70s on jad and the healers couldn't even get to him in time. GF noob, 0/10.

I am not muder. I am Sir :D Also i did not mess up with healers, i just don't wanna try AGS. Also, i like Dharok more...

jads been killed with everything from chickens to recoil rings, really only thing i havnt seen was 100% entangle spells (said to be impossable, one has tried and only got half way before useng all ppots after like 5 hours of entangleing)

I have gotten 6 capes total, i would have alot more but my disconnection killed me alot when i tried to Dharok TzTok-Jad. Anyhow i lost first cape when i was f2P (i swear to god i never recall dropping it). Then i lost 2 capes at Zamorak solo:

 

 

 

Killled boss. Logged back in after few mins, had low hp and prayer...and protect item was taken out (Why i support that prayer shud be on when you log in).

 

 

 

Then i lost another cape at Zamorak boss, but that was just a mistake. Now i got 2 capes in bank only

As for my thread, whoever do not get the achievement i have achieved does not know what they are saying. Why? Comparing me to very experienced players such as Murder(Who is named alot), and say "He's done it faster with AGS" is just being silly.

 

 

 

I mean i am not Murder, and neither are you. I appreciate my own achievement than some strangers. And if doing 210 damage in 9 secs on Jad melee is not a achievement then i am speechless. But 210 damage on Tztok-Jad in 9 secs was a goal i did not set myself. My goal was to become highly experienced with TzTok-Jad and i feel that i have proved that. :mrgreen:

Hehe its very easy to kill Jad with DH, but killing him with dh at 1-15 hp is another thing. But i wanna do it with 1-5 hp and not 15. ;)

Woah woah woah. You must have misunderstood me or something. I meant you should have waited until you beat it, as it is much more impressive. Either way, the reason I said I didn't understand the point of this thread is because I thought Jad had 210 life, and I looked at all your videos until I noticed that Jad has more than 210 life.

Rofl, the majority of the first post is how you have been abused at tif, you don't even mention what you did until the 3rd post!(I don't click on links due to the influx of hackers), you yourself are passive aggresive btw.

So taking the harder way of fighting Jad is supposed to be impressive because no one else has made a guide on it? No one makes guides on it because it's too much hassle. Range is far easier. Grats on beating him the hard way I guess, but really, don't try and pass it off as the new way to kill jad just because you're the first to put a guide to it. :|
