Grandmaster Quest Theory

Please let me know if there are any things i may have missed or any inconsistencies. IT works out so that everything gets resolved and allows for expansion into, say, the Eastern Lands. My friend and I spent about a week on it in our English Class

 

 

 

GrandMaster Quest Theory

 

 

 

-Evil Building up forces to initiate 2nd God Wars

 

 

 

-Other Conflicts preventing an army of Good:

 

*Gnomes - Aprosandra (Glouphrie/Successor?)

 

*Elves/Ardounge/Camelot - Lathas, Iowerth, the Mourners

 

*Goblins - H.A.M., Zanik's dissappearence

 

*Fairies - Fairy Godfather, Orks

 

*Myreque/Misthalin - Vampyres, Werewolves

 

*Temple Knights; Falador - Sea Slugs

 

*Burthrope - Trolls?

 

*Yanille - Ogres?

 

 

 

-After Resolving all conflicts, each area will give you an army to fight with, Blending a RTS concept into the Quest

 

 

 

-Using the Kudos Island to get to The North, the Second God Wars begin:

 

*NOTE: Edicts of Guthix get thrown out the window, Process of awakening Guthix happens alongside the Quest

 

 

 

-Army vs. Army until PLAYER defeats each Majharrat, Save for Lucien

 

 

 

-Possible Evil Armies:

 

*Trolls

 

*Ogres

 

*Vampyres

 

*Demons

 

*Dragons

 

*DragonKin (See Below)

 

*Orks

 

*General Assortments of Undead Creatures

 

*Icyene? (See Below)

 

 

 

-DragonKin:

 

*(Likely) Trapped under Castle Drakan

 

*Possibly "Elder Dragons"; Death of All Dragonkin sparks the full on War

 

 

 

-Icyene:

 

*Enslaved by Drakan to make weapons on-par with the Godsword?

 

 

 

-Majharrat: (Army Generals in a sense)

 

*Lucien (Has Staff of Armadyl, and is looking for/possibly has the Stone of Jas) [is not killed during the First Part of the War]

 

*Akthanakos

 

*Azzandra (Seems to be a Ghost, Yet talks and acts like he is very much alive, so is currently open for interpretation)

 

*Enahkra

 

*Hazeel (Requires "Hazeel Cult"

 

*Zemouregal (Has undead Arrav as his General)

 

*Sliske (Possibly has the Barrows Brothers at his disposal?)

 

*(Very Speculatory) Ice Mountain Oracle?

 

*(Possibly?) General Khazard

 

 

 

-Possible disguised infiltration? (Looking at what Hazelmere said at the end of 'Path of Glouphrie')

 

 

 

-With no armies to defend their lands, the Penguins, led by the KGP and Pescaling Pax, lead a takeover of all the lands that the Player has helped, until the Player comes and puts a stop to it

 

 

 

-After all but Lucien are killed, The Gods try to intervene in the conflict, their arrival reviving Zaros

 

 

 

-Lucien takes Zamorack's power using the Staff of Armadyl, just as Zamorack did to Zaros

 

 

 

-Lucien is defeated by the player, as Lucien fails to become a true God (See Plot Theory)

 

 

 

(Plot Theory: Zaros is revived because not all of his powers were taken, just enough to survive, meaning Zamorack has less power than Zaros did as a God, but still enough to be one. When Lucien takes Zamorack's powers, he doesn't take enough to become effectivley God-Mode and the Player defeats him.)

 

 

 

-The armies of all forces begin to throw Gielnor into a cataclysm as War breaks out elsewhere other than The North

 

 

 

-Guthix stops the Second God War, and, seeing the brave help given by PLAYER, restores the world to it's former state as his way of rewarding the Player

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Let the evil forces all get together to take out Zamorak? You seem to be trying to recreate the events that led to Zamorak becoming a god, which was not accomplished until he was banned from Gleinor, which is also why the Gods left. The gods would not return, because they still existed on Gleinor when Zamorak defeated Zaros. Now that they have left Gleinor, they would likely be able to prevent anything from getting to that extreme. So congratulations on your fail.

I agree with basiliko, just be patient and wait for quest to come out. Its exciting to wait and see what its going to about. Can't wait! ;)

Well I can't say I believe any of these "theories" because they don't have much evidence to support them. All hail the Nation of Speculation! It's not too long until it's released, let's just wait until then and see. ;)

And what you do if it's right...? It's not exactly helping someone, and there simply isn't enough evidence in the game AT ALL to back up ANY theory, however well thought through. How do we know they aren't going to just add on a massive section of map and stick a giant quest scenario in it? We don't.

 

 

 

Unless you can come up with something that has 100% proof that a certain material/level/quest may be needed for the quest, it's rather useless to spectulate.

My theory is, you gunna go to the GWD get bored say hi get owned go to lum say :twss: eat some pie and some cake forget about it all and then a mystical fairy will come and offer you 200m or a pie and some more cake and you take the pie and some cake and neverrrr rreegreett ittt.

I'm shocked at some of the responses. He's merely throwing some ideas together. Who cares if it'll be released soon? It's still fun to guess. And to the comment that was sparked earlier, how is this like a government conspiracy? It's just the fun of good ol' speculation. It's not like English class is the most entertaining class, anyways (sorry to any English lovers).

 

 

 

Good work. It's some interesting ideas with the Zamorak not receiving all of Zaros's power and the same happening for Lucien as a plot.

Go to the RSOF, Future Updates board. You'll find 15 different threads all guessing the required quests which, amazingly, happen to be the same.

Interesting story but the grandmaster quest comes out this month, and mobilising armies comes out after November. The only reward I could think that would be good enough would be raising the skill cap. Though I doubt that will be it. Though the second god wars and guthix's awaking seem likely, which means you might need to collect sacred clay for him?

OT: I figure that the quest may be the sequel to Dragon Slayer that was being much debated a while ago... and maybe it will be on the Kudos Island or whatever you call it... It should be fun! :thumbsup:

It's a very interesting theory, if not a bit cliched. (Fight breaks out, go to new area, save the world from evil, the evil never really happens because of some outer force ie guthix, dreaming, etc)

 

 

 

Personally, I hope this "Grandmaster Quest" has lots of twists and turns. I want to be wrung out and gaping with shock, like I was after watching Zanik disappear. :o
