Tim
Greetings! Since 2004, I have been a maor fan of Dragon armor, its nice looking, was the best back then and has becme a long term goal im still achieving to this very day. With the realease of the long awated Dragon Platebody players where in awwe that such armor had finally been released. However, Not all players were too impressed. It's 2008 now, Dragon is still slow to be gained from monster drops which is what I'm here to talk about. Price's have been high but or what? Dragon was ment to be the 60 Defence Armor Icon, instead its a signature of wealth. Should we have more monsters Drop Dragon Armor? I Personally think so. its far cheaper to maintain barrows at lv70 Defence then Lv60 Defence ith Dragon Armor that costs more then Barrows itself. What are your opinion's on the new move into Dragon-Ware? More drops from monsters, less drops from monsters? More Weaponry Perhaps?? Im interested on your response about it. : Edit: I'd be glad to expand on my discussion but a thunderstorm is right outside :ohnoes: Popoto.~<
magmaguard3
I personally think that dragon armor is over priced. The dragon platebody, by what I've heard isn't as good as barrows, and for something that cost 30 mill, you'd think that they would give you more for your money. :wall: I think they should just up the stats, atleast for the dragon plate, otherwise tune the price down just a tad. PS: I hope you get through the storm alright. :

Master_Smither
It's just a classy armour which I think it was ment to be. Barrows is great for the price and so is dragon at 60 defence. I meen everything but plate, chain, and full helm of course. The legs, skirt, weapons, and helm are all nice and cheap and easily afforded by most members with 60 defence. It is fine how it is because the chain adds class to the set. Well......if you want to be the best in runescape it's wildy cape, d long, no shield, granite body,d legs, gnome boots, no gloves, and amulet of accuracy. I was thinking more along the lines of whatever Dragon weapon you used's special attack being heightened... And possible some kind of heightened Defensive aura. I'd also like to see people who've completed WGS go into random Dragonkin-induced rages and be able to kill people while wearing multiple pieces of Dragon equipment (not that the people killed should suffer anything more than annoyance.). But I doubt that'll happen, even thought it would be a cool as some 'side-effect' of using Dragon equipment (refer to the Dragonkin thread for more info.). SwreeTak
Dragon is a very cool armour and lots of people want it. RS is a place full of merchants. When the demand is high for an item or a few items, like with dragon armour and weapons, the price gets high aswell. Personally I think that it's good that the prices is high for dragon armour since it is indeed a very good armour, and very cool aswell. But if the price was lowered a little, I think it would become even better. Perhaps a few more monsters could drop it, but not too many. Then dragon would lose some of it's value. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Maybe Jagex has in mind that you need dragon armour to kill the dragonkin like the tormented wraith and black armour. That would be the use for dragon tbh. Den
Dragon Armour has always been an armour for the rich. The stats will never reach up to barrows, and I think dragon is long overdue to be released. Ive always liked dragon armour better then other armour, but with all the armour out there, dragon has started to lose its charm for many. ........::::: Rainy's YouTube Channel - Rainy's Twitter - Rainy's Facebook - Rainy's DeviantArt - Rainy's Tumblr - Rainy's Tip.It Profile :::::......... Deal888
You all should remember that when the Dragon Medium Helm was released, the prices were way high, and people just like you were ranting about how they were being overpriced and manipulated by the rich merchants of the time. Back then, the GP was worth more, and 4 years ago, items above 5m were considered expensive, and now when we see a new item come out for 5m, that is extremely dirt cheap. Why is this happening? Inflation in the RuneScape economy over time. So when we talk about items from 4 years ago, they are directly related to today's items. Now, some of the last of the dragon armor is being released, most notably, the Dragon Platebody. Everyone here is complaining how it is so "overpriced." All you should remember that 4 years ago the rich merchants (AKA today's Jagex through the G.E.) raised prices extremely high for the Dragon Medium Helm, and eventually, the prices fall. Dragon Med Helm is now extremely cheap, and the same will happen for the Dragon Platebody. The exact same cycle happens for every dragon item release and always will. ghoulmeister
Some dragon armor is still worth it. Dragon legs and skirts are a quick fix for people on a budget, cheap, better than rune, and doesn't degrade. The d square is a great value for ddsers or people using whips, provided you have done the legend's quest. The d med looks terrible, but is good for archers who can't buy a robin hood and who aren't smart enough to do the fremmy trials for an archer helm. However, the general community of tip.it has outgrown dragon, and will only look at the platebody and the chain and full helm as wealth symbols. I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-) Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?
