December 10, 200817 yr When I was little, (I thought) there was a robotic contraption under the floorboards of my bedroom which would whip out and slaughter me if I (a) slept with any part of my body over or within an inch of the edge of the bed, or (B) had to leave my bed after 10PM for any reason whatsoever. Bathroom trips below the age of six were definitely the most exhilarating events of my life. =D> I'm not here anymore! Go find Eregion2.

December 10, 200817 yr The only time I was 100% scared is when I was framed for a bomb threat at my school. The FBI came to my house and searched EVERYTHING. They also asked a ton of questions. I was put on probation for six months even though I didn't do anything. That would suck, especially for me since they would find all my torrents/burned games/burned movies. My dad used to like to burn movies that we rented from Blockbuster so we have a collection of 50+ burned movies from him renting/burning like three years ago.
December 10, 200817 yr I don't have that many fears, but.. Damn that dreaded feeling when you have something of high value in your pockets, you put your hands in, and it just isn't there on the critical moment the next time you check them. Now if I have a high-value temporary item like an important reciept, document etc... I keep it in my hand/palm until I get to the destination. A bit paranoid but if you physically feel it all the time, it can't just inexplicably disappear.
December 10, 200817 yr Author I have a new one: When i saw my moms face when i went 488 texts over my limit. Pureprayer, you're awesome.

December 11, 200817 yr I got very scared from watching some "ghosts are real" youtube vid and i didnt want to look out of a dark window for months. Similar to me, I was deathly afraid of vampires after seeing something on the discovery channel about "real vampires." Mind you this was like 10 years ago, so before youtube graced the intarwebs with it's presence. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

When I put something in a pocket and forget it, then check that pocket later, it's always in another very strange pocket that I CHECKED EARLIER but was EMPTY. AUGH. But my bed's in just a strange enough position and just the right size that if I lay flat, my feet always dangle... I had a dream that I was missing a leg. I woke up and went to school in my brother's wheelchair. I think. That might have been a dream, too. I kept getting it as a reoccuring dream too. The strange part was I don't have a little sister, but I can just barely picture her from the dream. Weird. Beer

(I hate that [developmentally delayed]ed movie "The Unborn") I used to have a dream every sunday night for 6 years, where my mom sent me to get the mail, as did all the moms, and then they laughed as this clown: [hide=Clown][/hide] Rode down the street with a tricycle covered in pentagrams (what's wierd is because I didn't know what pentagrams were back then.) sliced all of our heads off. Then the moms went inside. And the birds ate our corpses. For those sunday nights, I hated going to bed because of it. Nowadays I get that dream occassionally and it's funny how I ever considered it a nightmare. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. December 11, 200817 yr I actually had one last night like that, wasn't really scary but I was a few hours late for school or something, or had lots of projects due. I was pretty much screwed anyway. Then I woke up, so relieving. But for the first few seconds I was actually thinking "Oh man I'm screwed, oh man I'm screwed, oh man I'm... Oh wait."
December 11, 200817 yr The constant fear that you're forgetting something, causing you to consistantly re-research facts so that you're fully informed. for example, i have an exam, this thursday, at 2pm i have quite literially looked at my exam schedule about 10 times a day just to make sure what i knew is what i knew Also the dreams that leave you wondering if it was a dream. Ties into the previous fear quite nicely when you think you overslept and missed your exam Especially when you wake up and it's only tuesday... I missed a due date on a final project last week and watched my grade go from a 93.8% to a 73.8%. Actually, when that sunk in probably qualifies as one of the scariest moments of my life, if we're counting "holy crap how the hell did that happen?!!" moments.
December 12, 200817 yr So earlier in the year (May 22, 2008) a tornado touched down about 10 minutes from my university (UC Riverside). I was one of the resident advisors (RA) on duty that night and it was storming pretty bad, i.e. thunder, lightning, hail, heavy rain, etc. Then I noticed the rain had stopped and that it got kind of quiet. I looked at AccuWeather.com to check on the weather to see if the storm had let up or if it'll keep up through the entire night. That's when I saw that we were under tornado warning. I was thinking, "Haha no way!" That's when I got a call on my duty phone from the Head Resident/Resident Director on duty and was told that a tornado had touched down south of us. o_O' Felt my heart race and I was thinking, "What do we do?!" while she was telling me that if I saw any students outside to get them back inside the building. For the next hour I was thinking over where the heck should I go if a tornado did touch down any closer to the university (ended up figuring out I had to go into the hallway, but by that time the tornado warning was lifted and all was good). Honestly, I found a tornado more scary than earthquakes, even though tornadoes are more predictable and have advanced warnings compared to the unexpected earthquakes. >_< I'm not a fan of thunderstorms either, but soon as I heard a tornado had touched down, I was close to hyperventilating. >_< Other scary moment was during the firestorms in October 2007 in Southern California. Fires never got near us, but there was a lot of "ifs" to deal with, and all the smoke that was in the area really didn't help at all. :( Seeing the sky turn orange, seeing the sun being BRIGHT RED in the middle of the day was just freaky. As I, living on the east coast, have never fully experienced an earthquake so i dont know how it feels. I have been through many hurricanes though and discovery channel makes it worse with all its episodes on "The worlds most destructive hurricanes" and all the "Bord up your windows, reinforce your walls" kinda makes your blood pressure rise. I hate natural diasters allthough i did stay a summer at El Salvidor in Mexico (recently gas was $12 a gallon [went down though]) and they were hit with a major earthquake, hurricane and had a volcanic eruption in the last few years (not when I was there) . Pureprayer, you're awesome.

No way! :? :ohnoes: The most scared I've been was probably when my dog ran away. We found him trying to cross a street and a car was coming, it headed closer and closer to my dog and I thought it was gonna run it over. I unintentionally screamed "No!" and fortune have it that the car wasn't going so fast so it stopped right in front of him. The little rascal was unaware of the car until it looked to his left, only to see a massive white thing in his face. He jumped and went back to the sidewalk. We finally got him ten minutes later; he ran off when we tried to get closer to him. Recently I've been having some thoughts...we had two small, but lengthy earthquakes in the past week. I fear a big one might come soon... "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
