Would this Set Up work for Ankous? I was planning on bringing 12 Prayer Pots (4), 4 Super Attack (4) and 4 Strength (4) pots. I was only going to activate Protect from Melee and nothing else.

Aslong as I break even or make a little bit (50k) I'll be happy. Should I switch to normal armour?

I suggest trying out your method, then trying out a method with normal armor and food. After just compare how you did with both of them and choose which is better.

Prayer is overkill on these. If you want long trips, bring bones-to-peaches tabs, much more cost effective.

dont waste your prayer pots, food is fine with a decent armor... even camping with bones to peach is not that good, because you cant use pots while camping.. and super set is always recommended while training combat.. it speeds the whole thing a lot..

I have a feeling you will make a loss with that set-up....

Just wear decent armour, you dont even need p pots, just bring good food.

Agreed, now it takes less then 30seconds to get your salve ammy enchanted.

 

 

 

Step 1. slaye a bit till you get enough points to buy a slayer ring

 

 

 

Step 2. Stock up on a couple sharks and decent armour (rune will sufice)

 

 

 

Step 3. Teleport to the terror dog cave

 

 

 

Step 4. Go through the doorway and kill the guy

 

 

 

Step 5. Continue to the next room, get the book and tele out

And for ankous...you've got to be kidding me? with your stats you want to use prayer? if you really want to waist money that bad i have better ideas for you. Buy rune armour (yes one of the most basic armours) and a couple of bones to peaches tablets. you will be able to stay there for atleast 5 hours (considering you took more then 10 tablets). Please, just don't use prayer...i beg of you :wall:

Wrong. Slayer helm (including black mask) and fury has a higher max hit and defence bonus than salve ammy (e) and netiznot. Don't believe me? go try it out on any decent max hit calc. 5% extra is no way near as good as the bonuses from a fury. Getting a bit off topic though.

 

 

 

You should just buying some barrows armour and tank them, they seriously don't hit that hard. If you have full Guthans or access to bunyips then your really in business, but you definitely don't need them.

I agree. 1.3k for one tab atm, each tab has a possiblity of making 27 peaches. Each healing 8

I would go down the armour, food and bones to peaches router myself.

Don't forget the slayer helm also adds defense bonus.

If you can, add the void melee set, and use btp tabs

That set-up would work... but it's too expensive for my taste. Praying on these is overkill. Also, you've got the potions to stay down there for a long time - are you leaving behind any good drops?

 

 

 

I'd personally recommend short trips with melee void, super str and att pots, a beast of burden, and plenty of cheap food you're willing to drop. The bank's only a 2-minute round-trip away with a glory tele, there's no need to make your trips last really long.
