Serpent Eye
Out of the movies currently in theaters, I would suggest: The Day the Earth Stood Still (pretty cool sci-fi movie.) Bolt (Hehe, this movie is totally a kids film, but I really enjoyed it!) Quantum of Solace (not as good as the Pierce Brosnan or Sean Connory films, but still enjoyable.) pryomancer
This is out on DVD now, but if you like a movie that's different to your usual Hollywood drivel, try 'In Bruges'. It's a fantastic film, soon to be a classic.

indy500fan
Ah yes, the recommend a movie game. I don't think it caught on as well as the music one (I think there is a music one) because it is a little harder to get movies, and more time is required to watch them. I remember that topic because I found exactly what kind of movie I requested the next day (comedy/sci-fi oriented: Starship Troopers) but sadly I was recommended stuff I had seen before. But this topic isn't like that, the OP just wanted reviews on any random movie they want, which is exactly like the what movie you last saw thread. Lenin64
May I recommend Twilight? According to me mother, it's "better than a sharp stick in the eye". Command the Murderous Chalices! Drink ye harpooners! drink and swear, ye men that man the deathful whaleboat's bow- Death to Moby Dick!BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! I'm not such a huge Colin Farrell fan, though. I highly suggest watching this movie, though!

Or there's another awesome person out there. Um, this thread isn't doing too great. But I highly recommend EVERYONE to watch Ferris Bueller's day off. It's great. And a lot of modern things are derived from it. Including a part in one of the Flight of the Conchords' shows. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
scootlaboot
Forget the theaters, just rent/buy/other Boondock Saints. If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.
