Everybody knows there is a Gravedigger Random Event, everybody knows you only get it while burying bones.

 

What do you think it is? Is it a nuisance or do you bury bones during combat training in the hopes of a Gravedigger so you can deposit your drops and stay longer?

 

 

 

I myself find this random the best ever, even tough I already have all clothing, I still get 500gp of it ('every single gold piece counts' in my eyes) and I can deposit all of my drops while doing Slayer tasks. During my current Slayer task (163 Dust devils, 11 left <_<) I got it 2 time, which meant I didn't have to leave the dungeon nor waste 100gp and a Shantay Pass on banking. The only downside is that it takes some time to complete the random, but it is still shorter then tele-ing to a bank, depositing and transporting back to the Smoke Dungeon (I don't dare to risk my stuff in the Chaos Tunnels, I'am a poor guy =( )

 

 

 

It's really handy when you get lots of non-stackable drops (for example, I had 2 Red D'hide Vambs, 2 Earth Battlestaffs and some higher-level herbs at the first Gravedigger, and another 2 Earth Battlestaffs, 1 Red D'hide Vambs and more herbs at the second) and don't really want to leave.

Its benefits outweigh the disadvantages obviously, too bad I'm yet to get it. Of course, I don't remember burying bones while doing any kind of monster farming.

I personally think the gravedigger random event is awesome. I was at the God wars dungeon ranging Aviansies and I got the gravedigger random event. I was able to store all my loot in the Mausoleum and could continu my killing spree without banking and getting all the way back past the scary wolves :ohnoes:. So yeah the gravedigger random event is a useful one.

Biggest waste of time imo. Leo can go cabbage himself and/or buy a new pair of glasses. -.-

I usually only bury bones when I have a fire giant task. Since I'm ranging, hat means I want unagressive monsters in the waterfall dungeon. Getting the gravedigger means the fire giants turn agressive again. An extreme nuisance which causes me to not bury bones anymore.

The only time leo doesn't annoy me is when I need to bank, which is basically only when I'm killing black dragons since I'm training exclusively via slayer these days.

But what about when you have a few spots open? Do you still want it then? I would like to have it especially when I need ~10 more Dust Devils or another monster for a task, but I only have 4 spaces or so open. That way you won't have to make a last-ditch decision what not to keep if you want to keep the drops.

 

 

 

Are there any other 'useful' Randoms? How are those usefull? There are at least 2 other usefulls: the Genie and the Surprise Exam, the first being the best when at an aggressive monster-spot, the latter at maybe any other. Hey, it's free experience!

You can not get randoms at Godwars, in the Burthope games room, POHs, fightcaves, while doing another random, and probably some other places.

Yeah i got your point, some teleported random is useful in some case, which strangely example, wants black demon to reaggro :D

 

Some are not for example wild dogs.

 

 

 

I don't really have much problem with filled inventory so leo is just a random to me, besides i don't bury bones.

i find it really useful \ i try and save my bones up so i can bury them all at once when i need to bank. sure its annoying when some monsters get aggressive again, but the banking thing is positive enough to outway that.

I really think it is useful when you get the random when you want it. If I am, like the OP said, Monster farming, and am running out of space, I find it useful to get an event to deposit my inventory. However, I can't remember the time fully, but when I was F2P, at one point I got the random while killing the Greater Demons in the Wilderness (was burying Burnt bones every now and then) and I was teleported out. I did the random, and when I came back, three Revnants had taken over the area, and I was killed not long after. Now I would have teleported, but I deposited all my runes, thinking I could walk to BH. Bad thinking on my part.

 

 

 

So in the end, I just think of that random as useful when it comes to time and location.

Only useful when you want the emotes and clothing. I have the emotes and after that I find it rather useless. Sure there's a bank space but I usually don't need it. Also, when teleported back, all monsters become aggressive again. I hate that when training.

Because I am a ranger I like the monsters to stay unagresive. This makes me hate all the randoms. Even the ones that dont teleport you out they still are annoying.

Liar, NOWHERE inside Godwars dungeon has randoms. NONE.

 

 

 

 

 

Gravedigger is useful if you melee, and the monsters you are killing happen to drop you a lot of high price, inventory slot consuming loot. (Dragons/Fire giants, etc.)
