Could use in FoG for loads of xp for free. :D

(with mage)

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Here is the information I have gathered on the fighting equipment:

Using one item at a time makes it last for 30k xp. That's 300 xp per percent.

Using three items at a time makes them all last for 90k xp. Thats 900 xp per percent.

Using all four items at a time makes the all last for 150k xp. That's 1500 xp per percent.

However, using one item costs less points, of course. It may be a good idea to amass a stockpile of hats, as they're the cheapest, and bring them with you if you plan on staying in one area for a long time, and don't want to recharge.

Using only the hat, I can wear better equipment in the body, legs, and weapon slot, than the clay that would be there. 5 hats lasts as long as all 4 at the same time. I'm 99% certain it's not only cheaper, but you can wear better equipment in the slots that would be filled with sub-par grade clay items.

My xppp (experience per percent) are approximations, not 100% accurate.

so if i wanted to use this for fast range exp whats my best bet?

it would be to use the whole set. however it will cost more points and will break faster than using one item.

Wrong way around. The whole set lasts longer than one item. After you get the set, every item costs the same to recharge, 20 points. It would be best to use the whole set according to my data, if you don't count the cost to first get the set. However, it depends if you need better stats. For rangers, it would only really effect accuracy, and same for mage, but with mage, you will use more runes if you'd normally use an elemental staff. However, for melee, you might want to leave out the clay weapon. It will use more points in the end, but you'll actually be able to use a good weapon.

Another alternative is using only the hat, to use better equipment than the rest of the clay set. It will cost 25% more points in the end, but may be worth it, depending on the monster you're fighting, what style of combat you're using, and your stats.

Personally, I think clay armor isn't completely worth it. You may want to just keep training right through, not wasting time on the minigame. However, for magic, it saves tons of money in runes to use clay armor.

You can use the SC hammer to make oak larders

Uses 2% charge per each larder and gives 960 xp each

sweet thx for the info

if that's true the hammer for construction will definitely be the biggest change brought by the stealing creation update

if u get 48k xp per proto tool this basically means you can get just over half the xp rate for half the price on dungeon doors

if u get 2.5 proto tools an hour it would add up with dungeon doors that anybody that makes under 1250k gp/hour should put these prototools to use for construction purposes

Regardless of the time, this is an epic update.

People like to play minigames anyway, so, do this in your spare time, stock up on things, and buy tools?

This is free exp we are talking about people, you cant ask for much better.

Here's a quick question for the Clay Harpoon:

Does the SC Harpoon exp affect the exp from the fishing gloves from FoG?

So, is it... (for swordfish)

SC doubles before fishing gloves

100 (base) * 2 (SC) = 200 + 100 (gloves) = 300 xp

or

SC doubles after fishing gloves

100 (base) + 100 (gloves) = 200 * 2 (SC) = 400 xp?

or

It doesn't stack at all

Anyone know if combat armor also doubles hitpoints?

But i'm so happy this came out i wasn't even playing while waiting for the update

As the saying goes: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, i disagree i can think of plenty of injuries that won't make you stronger.

I get 99 smithing (well 410 xp off) and then they turn it into the next cooking, gj.

Lol, it actually is, if you dont factor in the time to gather the tools (which is a fun passtime anyway). Smithing addy arrowtips atm is like 150-50gp loss per 124 (or so) xp. With plates, the money loss is bigger, but you can get 300k xp an hour :o.
