There never was an honor code to begin with. Jagex never posted an "Honor Code". And with as many idiots as there are on any online game, there is no such thing as an honor code...

I guess without the Good ol' Wildy, you have to win about 12 duels in a row to cover the losses in one duel anyway, so It really doesnt matter outside of Bounty Hunter.

PJ'ing is not going to get you kills, it'll get other people kills. So enjoy your failcake while you eat to full HP... you're disadvantaging yourself while they get in free hits.

I agree that we should be able to play as we wish without all of this ridiculous banter, in every aspect of play. But there is some logic in the way these typical PKers deal, be it intentional or not so. If you eat a lot at high hitpoints, chances are your foe will drive you down and you won't get to retaliate too often and eventually, someone will give, and no one gets a kill. As far teleporting and having defence goes, it's all good!

Thing is, the moment you break the "code" they run. While this isn't a big problem on p2p (with higher binds, ancients, and teleblock), on f2p you really have no choice but to follow these "codes" if you want the other guy to stick around at all.

I don't think there should be any rules to pking. If I use magic, of course I'm going to farcast, because that's the only way I can survive as a mage. In fact, that's what mages are meant to do. Protection prayers can be used whenever you want, really, but some people want to save their prayer for something else. If you start using prayer, the other person will, and the person with higher prayer points or prayer bonus will keep their prayer longer. If you have high level prayer, why not use protection prayers?

 

 

 

If you need to have people go easy on you, you've got some serious problems ahead of you.

If I fight and eat at 50hp, I really do expect my opponent to do the same and not eat to 99 every time I hit a 20 or so... A fight is supposed to be fun, so I try to keep it as fair as possible for both of us.

 

 

 

Yes, if you eat up to full hp every time, you probably wont die. You might even manage to kill someone if they decide to still eat at 50hp even though you don't. In my opinion you are a very sad person if you still eat to full hp then. I'm not asking you to let yourself get killed, I'm asking to keep it fun for both of the people that are fighting. It's not all about you and the armour you are wearing. The other person deserves some respect as well.

 

 

 

As for pjing, it's possible, so I'm not going to discuss it here.(I know it's wrong, but I pj as well from time to time so yea ...)

The best offense is the best defense. Comboing several 20s in a row in a no-armor fight using a Rune scim/D scim combo is lethal in f2p, rather than wasting several turns eating up to full health, where the opponent can hit you many times in a row. Also, no armor fights are cheaper and allow both players to have a higher chance of killing each other. Instead of wasting 200k on a full rune set and a 2h+supplies, you can spend 40k on a rune scim+corrupted d scim+supplies. Either way, you still get the same reward from killing someone, which usually pays for supplies. So far, I've broken even pvping in no-armor fights.

Wait, so what is your objective when you go to a PVP world? Waste as much money as possable?If you waste an invertory full of sharks you aren't gaining anything.

 

 

 

On top of all of that, eating does not change anything about a situation. You will just continue to lose hp untill you die. You cannot fight back when you are eating.

In my first resonse I never said that I expect anyone to follow honor codes. If you are willing to waste 27k on food because you go into a PVP world knowing that you can't win, then go ahead. You are just one more unsellable magic ammy I get to pick up off the ground.

 

 

 

It really does not matter anyway, bc you can't make much PROFIT in pvp anymore anyway, outside of BH, unless you get an extremely lucky drop (and those are declining in value every day).

 

 

 

Another user said "If you expect people to go easy on you...." after a rant complaining about other elements of PVP i never mentioned. The only thing I was against was eating to full health bc that usually really means "eat as much as I can because I have no clue what I am doing and I have no other strategy". There is no reason to eat to full Hp. You are just going to lose time and money stuffing food into your mouth when you get past a point.

 

 

 

Once again, I am outdated because it is very difficult to break even on losses in PVP worlds unless you get a very rare drop. These are all outdated rules that only appply to Bounty Hunter, hwere there is an almost garanteed profit if you win a good majority of your matches.

 

 

 

I have nothing against using prayer, or PJing. If your opponent uses a pray, just use a pray that counters it,or the same pray, and its a wash. There are ways to counter PJers, too.

Some of these people really are dumb, they will actually tell their opponent when to eat. I've had these people and quite frankly i never listen to them, i've been 31'd by a rune 2h enough times for me to know to stay over 30, and it doesn't make it much difference to anything. But pjers *rawwwr* hate them.
