Jagex has this sort of inconsistency. Kril Tutsaroth is a lesser demon for slayer tasks, even though he has wings like a greater, and his generals are greater demons and black demons.

Maybe big bones are identical to ourg bones, until wrapped up and aged? Though what could a Fayrg and Raurg be? Who knows... Unless they graphically update Slash Bash to look more like Graardor, I'd say he isn't an ourg. Like, why would his bones be wrapped in silk, while Graardor's aren't? I think Slash Bash was just hoarding different types of bones, because if I remember correctly, he drops more than one kind.

 

 

 

By the way, ogres are most likely going to get a graphical update, as they're updated in Armies of Gielinor. Why not use those models for Runescape itself? It makes sense, so they'll probably update them in the near future. Oh, and jogres are going to be bluish. I bet that just ruined some little kid's hopes and dreams.

Maybe ourg bones are only worth extra experience because the ogres ascribed ceremonial importance to them, with them being found in a burial ground and all. Perhaps it's the special magic about the area that makes them special, and Graardor's bones aren't any different than regular big bones because he's in the God Wars Dungeon and not at Jiggig. There would be precedent for not having a distinction between different kinds of big bones--giant frogs and cave horrors drop them just the same as hill giants and desert lizards.

Kree'arra - Aviansie

 

K'ril - Lesser Demon

 

 

 

 

 

K'ril is just a stronger version of Lesser demons, much like General Graardors Sergents are stronger versions of Goblins and Kree'arra is a stronger version of an Aviansie.

Because Ourg bones are wrapped in some ancestral cloth after death and buried with the body. It wouldnt make much sence for Graardor to drop Ourg bones if he was still alive :/. All types of ogres drop big bones but only a zogre of an ourg would drop ourg bones, thats why slash bash dropped because he was already dead and had his bones wrapped.

Pyrelord isnt that great, Its just as strong as a greater demon just moves less squares than it, which is horribad seeing as greater only moves 4. The Icyene is better because hell she can fly and range, So if you put a greater 1v1 with Icyene it will get its sht rocked.

I think that just because they're in a graveyard guarded by ogres doesn't mean that Ourgs automatically have to be a variety of ogres. Ogres were created by Bandos, goblins were brought into this realm by the same god. Since they fought side by side together it would make sense for them to be buried together. I don't think the actual age of the burial grounds has ever been confirmed, and there are plenty of remnants of the third age around. If you accept this it also makes sense that Ourg bones give massive XP, since apparently Ourgs were incredibly powerful commanders.

Lol sry I just think its common sence that slash bash is an ourg and ourgs are ogres. I mean he's the same size as the general, drops ourg bones and zogre bones, general has an ogres body......It just seems a little TOO obvious to me.
