Off topic, but i had to ask.

 

Okey, most of us know how Guthix brought humans throught a portal to Gielinor from another plane (meeting history) He is currently sleeping and is God of balance and the most powerfull.

 

Zamorak, in the other hand became god by betraying Zaros and killing him with staff of Armadyl. Before that he was Mahjarrat like Lucien, Sliske and Azzandra. He is god of Chaos.

 

And now to my question: How did Saradomin became a god? I heard it had something to do with Armadyl, but i really dont know. If anyone knows, reply would be appreciated :pray:

 

Back to topic: As a follower of Guthix, i think that he already has enough items like void knights armor anf FoG stuff. And before you start ranting about POWERFULL items, i dont really see a point, that why would he give something like that to his followers, when he can keep the balance himself :roll:

It's also possible it's not a true sleep, but an altered state of deep meditation and contemplation such as was the case with the druids in Warcraft 3. This seems to be a common theme. Perhaps Guthix is allowing his consciousness to drift across the planes until such time as his world needs him to keep the natural balance.

Another reason Guthix's items aren't used by people is because most of them are for looks (all besides Void...?) and I can safely assume that people like blue/white/yellow and red/black/gray better than green/turquoise/brown (although I'm sure people will respond to this just to disagree).

The Godsword Hilts were made by followers of that god. Why does it matter if they were made during the God Wars or not?

 

It doesn't; Guthixian followers today could just as easily forge a hilt now. It doesn't have to come from the GWD; hell, it could come from the Corporeal Beast. JaGEx has formed more tenuous connections before...

 

Druids created the hilt(s) and when the Chaos Druids broke away they stole them and carried them into the Wilderness where they were subsequently killed and the hilt(s) buried and then the hilts dropped into the CB's lair.

Because guthix was the first God to come to Gielinor, the first humans were followers of Guthix. Perhaps a weapon granted to his followers by Guthix to defend against the Dragonkin would make more sense. Obviously an immortal race would have to be immune to normal weapons, otherwise internal battles among their civilization or the introduction of other races would have wiped them out completely. The fact that some still remain seems to signal that they can't be vulnerable without some kind of enchanted weapon's influence.
