Did you ever notice how, (well im sure you all have) how there are no decent items for Guthix? No armour, sword, anything! When I heard the release of While Guthix Sleeps, I thought for sure there would be some new addition to Guthix, but instead, we get a Dragon Platebody. What are your thoughts on this?

guthix is the most powerful of the gods, it stands to reason that those who follow his ways would have the power to keep neutrality between the other gods

 

 

 

as it is now other gods' followers could pwn guthix's

Ok, my mistake, not Peace but still if anything he would make something like...a sickle? :lol:

i'm thinking a multi headed flail called the scales of balance which has a different spec depending on what "faction" it's used against

but guthix needs no more power, he has plenty, he can already restart the world on a whim....

but what about the followers of guthix

 

admittedly guthix doesn't seek followers

 

but knowing that some do follow him i doubt he would allow his followers to face off against whichever faction is shifting the balance wielding staves against godswords

Guthix DOES infact want followers. He is a God, too you know. As for the Godsword comment it'll be pointless; Guthix slept during the Godwars and only woke up to end it. He has the Guthix Edicts to help him, as he rests.

Guthix is the God of Noobs, this is why he fails.

Guthix already has an all powerful weapon, waking him up in case the sides ever become unbalanced.

He is saying items, not armour and weapons. So by all means, it could be some sort of chisel that does something special, or whatever.

Did you ever notice how, (well im sure you all have) how there are no decent items for Guthix? No armour, sword, anything!

The few Guthix items that are around (trimmed rune, blessed dragonhide, vestments) all have the same stats as the corresponding Saradomin and Zamorak items. The only reason that Guthix items are used less (that I can think of) is that Guthix items can't be used in the God Wars Dungeon. Still, when it comes to items there's a lot of gods that get screwed out a lot harder than Guthix. Mainly Bandos and Armadyl, they have almost no items for every day use and of course the desert gods don't have any items at all.

Guthix needs no followers, I doubt he demands them either. The few that follow guthix rarely go into battle as the world is nicely balanced as it is. When they do need to go into battle, why would you need a godsword when you have a god who can kill every enemy who stands in your way?

 

 

 

The GWD bosses are all level 3s with bronze longswords, and Guthix is an amused level 138 who knows he could barrage them all in a moments notice.

I thinkof guthix more like a wannabe balance noob :P I dont like guthix at all, I dont like sara either.. I go for zammy since he is offence <3 and offence always owns :P I must agree guthix has fewer items, but I dont realy care tbh :D

Guthix can destroy the world then recreate it at whim, and through his mere directive was able to stop all factions and their gods, and force them to never directly influence the world again. Do you really think any of the lesser gods, or even Saradomin or Zamorak could enforce their will upon others like that? If they could, the God wars would've never happened to begin with!

 

 

 

Jagex have said he's the strongest god, second strongest being Zaros, via the god letters.
