January 28, 200917 yr For those of you who say that Guthix is the most powerful god, consider that things might not be as they appear. The fact that Guthix was able to shape Gielinor, end the God Wars, and claims to possess the power to "reset" the entire plane of Gielinor would seem to indicate that he is incredibly powerful as a god. However this may not be the case. It is entirely possible that Guthix is no stronger than any other god, or may even be weaker, and that the strength he claims to brandish is derived solely from the Stone of Jas. Just because Guthix has the best weapon, does that make him stronger? I don't think so. I think that if the Stone of Jas were ever taken out of his possession, Guthix would be far less powerful, perhaps to the point of being unable to enforce the Edicts. But that situation is laughably unlikely.

January 29, 200917 yr it would be great to get some godsword like guthix items, although in the past his items have not been used as much only because of the colour not being as attractive as red or white, the only people wearing guthix were the minority of guthix followers and those who couldnt afford sara and zammy items. I wear Guthix items not only because I agree with the principles of Guthix but because I think green looks awesome! Still I think its pretty interesting how Guthix is always so much cheaper than anything else... I mean the entire Guthix vestment set costs less than just the Sara cloak, likewise the entire Guthix dragonhide set costs less than one part of the other sets! I realise that Guthix cannot be used in the God Wars dungeon like Sara or Zammy, but these players typically buy just one piece of the set; it seems counter-intuitive that this alone could push the prices of Guthix items so far down below the prices of comparable Sara/Zammy pieces. Also, I didn't realise that Green wasn't a popular enough color to combat the effects of that. It works out good for me, though, because I don't have to pay as much as much for my green!

Interesting proposition - Does balanced mean that with high Attack stats, you lose your Defense stats, or that Defense stats are equal to Attack stats so that they're all the same and "balanced"?

January 31, 200917 yr Yea, I agree. Guthix needs some good armour now. But I think I know why he doesnt. All the Gods and armour and weapons and such are based on the "God Wars" of the Third Age. Guthix was the God of Balance, and did not take part in the God Wars. Therefore, he did not need any good armour/weapons, and therefore there arent any right now. I think that releasing armour for Guthix may bring the question of "Why did the followers of Guthix need armour?", but Guthix being the God of Balance and all, I also think there should be some great armour to use, maybe since he had the good will and great power.
