January 18, 200917 yr There are a few strange symbols found in Funorb's newest game: "Armies of Gielinor". First of all, the symbol of Seren. I've personally never seen this symbol before, and I think you haven't either. The diamond inside is the symbol of Seren. Then, there's the symbol of the Menaphite Pantheon. It's supposedly the group of gods that are related to the Kharidian desert. I've never heard of them referred to as that, or ever even grouped together as one. The symbol seems to be an eye. Then, there's an upside down Zamorak symbol. What could this mean? A mistake, or does this mean something? Last, and most importantly: the mysterious half of the Dragonkin symbol. It's being held on what seems to be a shield by a Saradomin figure. Something's going on here, and I'd like to know what. January 18, 200917 yr The zamorak symbol is upside down on the mage arena staff too, I don't think it means anything.
January 18, 200917 yr the square is a crystal, and it's blue cause that's crystal blue. Menaphite symbol consists of a ring around a single dot. The ring symbols a group, wich is the various gods and the like in the desert area, and they are united as one, the dot.
January 18, 200917 yr it is assumed that the first saradominists, or saradomin himself, stumbled upon the dragonkin symbol and altered it to create the current four pointed star. considering the dragonkin have been around a lot longer than the current gods, aside from guthix. oh, and the menaphite pantheon consists of the gods like ichtnarin(sp?) and scabaras.
January 18, 200917 yr the menaphite symbol is the alchemical symbol for gold, and is a representation of the sun obvious choice for desert gods [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]
January 18, 200917 yr The Seren symbol probably represents a crystal. I think there's a Seren symbol in the Lletya altar though, but I don't know what it looks like... The Menaphite Pantheon is for all the gods united, as vegeta said. There's lots of gods in the desert, for instance, when Itchlarin (I think it was) fell asleep, his dreams became other, minor deities (of which one was Scabaras). I think the Zamorak symbol always looked like that...? I don't know as much about the dragonkin as others, but it could just be decoration. The Saradominists like to pretend there's nothing else besides Saradomin =P
January 18, 200917 yr The Dragonkin symbol has been well-discussed in this topic: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=770272 Check it out! Besides, that Zamorak symbol isn't upside down. That's how it really is.
January 18, 200917 yr I think Jagex themselves have got confused with the Zamorak symbol just lately (or they're changing it). In that image it's upside down. [-- DYNAMIC SIGNATURES FOR RUNESCAPE 3 & OLDSCHOOL 2007 RUNESCAPE --]
January 18, 200917 yr I think Jagex themselves have got confused with the Zamorak symbol just lately (or they're changing it). In that image it's upside down. Actually, I've just come to realize that it's neither good, nor upside down. It doesn't matter: http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/viewitem.ws?obj=2653 http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/viewitem.ws?obj=10450
January 19, 200917 yr Author That's strange, I've never noticed how the Zamorak symbol is often flipped. I guess it doesn't matter either way. January 19, 200917 yr zammy sybol is always like that. i believe it represents horns, as he is himself a sort of demon/devil representing chaos
January 19, 200917 yr dunno if u guys realize that there is an avatar of zamorak in the login screen and the symbol is on his chest, its suppose to be like that.
January 19, 200917 yr Author dunno if u guys realize that there is an avatar of zamorak in the login screen and the symbol is on his chest, its suppose to be like that. Then why on the cloak and other equipment it resembles an M? I just don't get it. Then why on the cloak and other equipment it resembles an M? I just don't get it. i believe that it used to be switched more often, but now-a-days it is mainlly the w. (dont reference zgs, it is a m because it would look [developmentally delayed]ed to have it the other way)
January 19, 200917 yr speaking of zamorak, I often was wondering what the m even means. My guess is.. m for mahjarrat? That'd mean that the M version, not the W version, is the more correct one, if that's the case. Do you hate Wyverns or Warped Terrorbirds? Think again! January 19, 200917 yr I always thought that the zamorak symbol formed a W and always thought it was for horns like a demon. Makes sence to me :? .
January 19, 200917 yr The Zamorak symbol is supposed to represent horns, and brute force (think raging bull), but I don't think it matters which way up it goes. Either that, or there was an original and it got modified over time. The Saradomin Star is derived from the dragonkin crest, but it's probably copypasta, not some kind of secret meaning. I've never seen that brown symbol before, but the symbolism is there. The Sun (Tumeken is the Sun god), the idea of many surrounding a single being, and the brown colour may represent desert rock. The Seren symbol is obvious. That's a piece of crystal, which the elves claim contain Seren's life-force. She is a goddess literally made of crystal. Of course, it's light blue because crystal is that colour. ~ W ~
