VI=best game/ff ever made.

I really can't wait till 2010 for XIII.

 

 

 

2010 eh? Maybe i'll have a PS3 then, and maybe by then GTA 4 will be 20 bucks. :lol:

 

 

 

Its coming out for the 360 too, I don't know why anyone thinks its will suck worse on the xbox then on the PS3...there might be some exclusive things for each version, but it will still be the same basic game...

 

 

 

 

 

He might of thought I was referring to FF Versus XIII, which has pretty much been confirmed to be a ps3 exclusive.

 

 

 

But nothing has been said when THAT will be released.

 

 

 

So far, spring 09 will be in japan, then spring 2010 will be north america (not even a mention of europe), for FFXIII.

 

FFX was very hit or miss. Some days I'd play it and flinch (Laughing scene) Other times I'd feel very involved (mostly around the revelations about yevon and what happens in the final summoning). Gets special mention because some of the songs were great, enough for me to download onto an mp3 player.

Why does everyone seem to dislike the laughing scene? It's so important to the story.

 

 

 

It made me smile when watching it.

ALSO: I wish 13 would come out sooner...they should do like Kojima did for MGS4 and release it worldwide at the same time...worked for him...no one was pissed...

If it makes you feel better I didn't like the underwater makeout scene. It was a very bad scene to me and the music was bad aswell.

no way that was a great scene but the music was pretty bad

Played 4-12. My favorite was 8, card minigame, junction system, gf, characters, it was all a blast :lol:

 

6 was probably my 2nd favorite.

 

 

 

Least favorite had to have been 12. I liked that combat system the best but cast of characters and dialogue really put it off for me.

The characters were mad, well, at least the Judges were. (including ex-judges) Out of the 3 FF games i've played, I reckon XII had the best combat system (it's easy to work) , the best character development ways (License Board) and a really fun set of side-missions (marks are fun to hunt)

But the Macalania Springs scene has to be one of the defining moments in the games. Without it, Tidus' reaction to when he learns the truth about the Final Summoning wouldn't have been as realistic. It would make the ending less emotional. Parts of the game can't work without that scene. (And honestly, Suteki Da Ne, has to be among the better songs in the game, and it really helps to bring about the scene)

Apparently it's gonna be a mix of real-time and turn-based, and you have complete movement control.

 

 

 

Also, Versus WILL be PS3 exclusive, which I like. They need the power for all the badassery.

FFVII was the best imo. Great story line, perfect characters and well thought-out game play. Love it. :thumbsup:

Fran's older sister and chief of the village Jote gives you Lente's Tear which allows you to pass those shields. You'll still see them yet you can walk through them.

i liked final fantsy 10 alot, definitely one of the best ones.

 

final fantasy 12 was very good, and a really good story i thought. i think they went overboard on some of the rare items and boss fights. *yaizmat hint hint*

ff x-2 i thought was really really bad, hardly a story, bad battle system, bad side quest yeah overall pretty bad.

FFX-2 was to explain what happened to tidus, just from yuna's point of view. Though for some reason, i've beat that game 100%, have all dress spheres, etc, but it wont give me the secret ending. I've given up on that now though.

Did you get the Whistle sequence in Chapter 3(?) Farplane Meadow? After Yuna "falls" into the hole made by Vegnagun.

I have to agree there. I couldn't even finish X-2 cause it sucked so bad. They should have made it more similar to the first one with a sphere grid or something.

The only reason I thought it failed was because except for some boss fights, one almost never had to change the jobs of the 3 girls. Other then that, it was based on the job changing system of III and V.

Which 3 have you played?

 

 

 

Crisis Core: FF 7 Battles - X, X, X, X, X, X, Square, X... boring.

 

FFX Battles - Waiting turns and staying in one spot is for teh noobs.

 

 

 

CC: FF 7 - DMW is hard to get 7-7-7.

 

FFX - Sphere Grid is big, really big.

 

 

 

CC: FF 7 - Missions are good fun, so I won't whinge about that.

 

FFX - No side missions? Well, where i'm stuck at anyway. (Oooo, Blitzball, it's alright.)

 

 

 

 

 

It seems as though I whinge too much, they are all good games. Well worth the money I spent. :thumbsup:

i liked ffx, it was pretty good. blitzball was amazing fun. haven't played 12 or crisis core though, so i can't argue with you there.
