Psycho_Robot
Zanik's Crossbow is fairly weak, even against the Bandos Statues, which they are supposed to be very strong against. It can hit 57-57  I tested it myself with 90 range and hit 46-47. Hmm really? I was using it at the Bandos Statues and was hitting mid 20s, once in a blue moon I hit a 30+. Maybe I those Bandos Statues were just a bad spot to try it on?
Ned
The special attack is only usable on players, I believe. I tested it at Duel Arena, and I was able to kill 130+ with ease. Not sure about NPC performance, I would assume it would be worse than the Rune C Bow. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum! Rook_Dugal
It works against NPCs, but it has a random level of effectiveness against them. Against PCs who use prayers/have a higher prayer bonus, it'll rip them apart.

Juhnie
I loved the quest, but can someone explain what the Crossbow special does? Zanik's Crossbow Defiance Deals increased damage (max. +15) to players using Prayers and/or equipment marked by the gods. Does 3-15 extra damage to other enemies. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... le_id=1950 Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <
ElChris
I cannot do the quest, I need 3 prequest to do it  The Giant dwarf, another slice of HAM and land of the Goblins. Omg, thats stupid, but I will have fun doing the quest, and getting an epic "RuneScape History" boost. Yeah, I love the RuneScape History, especially the storys from the 2nd to the 3rd age and the Big God Wars.

Misterknowitall
Lol, and now this apparently wasn't the 150th quest? If you count all quests, excluding Learning the Ropes, you will find that it was the 150th quest. However, it appearantly wasn't the planned 150th quest. acenator
Even though it apparently wasn't the quest they'd planned on having as #150, I have to say it works fine for me. Great storyline and overall a great quest (although I would have preferred it being a bit more difficult). Too bad they had to nerf the agility course, though; that would have made the quest simply amazing. Also, I wonder if Zanik's crossbow would be any good against tormented demons. From what I understand, the spec should rip them apart (since they use prayer), but is it anywhere close to being strong enough as a regular weapon to use it as your sole ranged weapon? > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
Da_Latios
Doing this quest just so happened to be in the first session of play that I've had on RS since I formatted my hard drive, and so the music was turned on in-game. I think Jagex really did well with the music. It contrasted even more the sadness and epicness of the storyline. I loved it. It won't work against tormented demons. If you read the description of the special attack carefully it says PLAYERS who use prayer or wear god items. As for its utility as a primary weapon, its about the same as a Adamant Crossbow, except that it can only fire normal, un-enchanted bolts up to Adamant, and Bone Bolts. I've tried Emerald (e) bolts and it said it wouldn't work. If this is intentional then its use as a primary weapon is limited since it can't fire Diamond (e), but if its a glitch, its a very disappointing glitch, because overlooking enchanted bolts is a silly thing to do when designing a new crossbow. Sir_Redhead
Personally, I thought it was a great quest. Amazing storyline, good combat, and overall a lot of fun. I do like the new c'bow, it's similar to the regular bone c'bow, but with slightly more damage. Overall, great quest. Gained first quest cape on 3/22/09! Gained 99 fishing 5/22/09!I forgot when I got 99 cooking!Proud member of Jovial Rovers

A shame really. I'm not really interested in Mobilising Armies. Don't get me wrong. I like RTS-style games. In fact they are my favorite kinds of games. However, I don't really think it fits in the concept of RS, with you playing as a wandering adventurer.
ElChris
I cannot wait for the "Mobilising Armies" minigame. It will be full of bugs at the beginning, of course, but I expect much for the time it takes to be released, maybe too much.
Asmodeous4
I'm not a member but I cannot see how MA would fit in at all to RS's genre. Perhaps if you lead an army as the player it would be good but it sounds more FunOrb-ish. magzar
Am I the only one who thinks The Chosen Commander completely failed to answer any of the questions that the goblin quest line posed? Seriously, It didn't end the series well at all, and I think there should be another goblin quest to tie up all the loose ends. It was a good quest to be part of the series, but certainly not the end. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]

To be honest if there are any major bugs or game imbalances I'm gonna be pretty disappointed. They've been delaying this and hyping this for so long that I'd think they would have tested it a LOT.
