but my new board isnt so fast...

 

 

 

I have to push hard at least 5 times to get it to go a little fast...

 

 

 

Is there a way to make it go faster? Without buying new wheels or trucks?

I don't know much about skateboards, but does it keep speed once it gets going?

Yeah, but within 20 seconds it slows down -_-

i need to know what bearings,wheels,and trucks you got to tell you the problem.

if you bought it complete in a box its usually not that good,i buy all seperate parts and custimize my set-up to make it the best.But not all complete are terrible they just not that good.that could be why,my first board was a complete bought one and it sucked bad. :lol:

My guess is the bearings since it seems to be having trouble smoothly rolling. That's of course, assuming everthing is aligned/attached correctly. Just my guess though, I don't know enough about skateboards to tell anymore without inspecting it.

Don't know an ounce about skateboards, but, friction between the wheels and to whatever they're connected could be causing it.

But really, most put-together boards aren't very good. I bought parts separately. I don't even know what Vision Streetwear is. Get yourself at least $100 and go down to a skateshop and get yourself a customized board.

its because you have horrible bearings and wheels, invest in new ones.

 

 

 

edit: by the sound of things you would be better off getting new trucks and deck as well

I don't skate, I'm a biker, so sorry if I am wrong.

 

Have you tried CRC (Spray on lubricant).

Try greasing the insides of the wheels after loosening them. Maybe evern loosen the trucks a bit. If that doesn't help, you're gonna have to buy new parts.

When in doubt - lubricate.

I've been skating for 5 years, so I know my way around the block, but it sounds like you just started skating just keep practicing you'll develop the "push". Also how old are you?

 

 

 

Also what the hell is Vision Street well? Sounds like a crappy Walmart board to me, don't bother with that [cabbage], just buy a normal setup at a skate shop.

I would definitely get new bearings, and make sure your wheels aren't to tight.

I thought this was about a slow moving board game like Rats Race.

 

 

 

Anywho,yeah,lubricate.

Probably becasue of the bearings and type of wheels you're using.

Also, paint it red. Red ones go faster.

If it came as a complete the components most likely are cheap and suck, meaning you should at least buy some better bearings and wheels.

ty i've been skatin for bout 4-5 years and i always use reds they are great.

Vision is horrible. The only thing worth using on there is the wheels and the hardware. The rest is crap. Get yourself some Reds bearings, the big brand ones are pretty much all the same but these are easy to clean. Get one of those decks with really boring designs on them, they're good and cheap. For trucks, not really my scene, I have quite heavy ones, but they're not nearly as bad as my Visions. That's not really your problem though, it's mainly their bearings that are [cabbage].
