The snipers are a lot better now after the fix. Only other imbalance i can think of are rc-xd cars and possible a few guns.

If you think snipers are useless, you're probably just bad at using them.

They're not useless, but they are pretty bad... Still, much better than Modern Warfare 2 balance, or lack thereof. HURR DURR I SNIPE U 'CROSS WASTELAND WITH RED DOT ACR" I always feel like I'm in such a minority when I don't agree that COD4 is the end all, be all. It's a great game, but I don't like its maps. Always loved World at War, though. With three well-made map packs keeping the game from getting stale, Nazi Zombies, and fun semi-automatic weapons, I've put 28 days on there.

 

Anyways, to Skully, I would not buy Infinity Ward's next game. They've lost all their good employees, and you would not be happy with your purchase.

"Useless" and "underpowered" are very different things. Are they bad in comparison to the rest of the CoD games? Yeah. But I can still do well with them if I try.

I don't usually let the other team get Dogs.

WaW tanks not strong? Every time I got in one of those things it was gauranteed dogs.

Not if I'm on the other team. Or any competent player with Satchels/Bazooka/a second tank.

I played a couple of games of this today after reinstalling steam (it was on my table, so why not). It was actually half-decent without the noob tubes. Then you get games with a whole team of OMA/DC/Commando tubers and tac knifers.

Most of those seem to have moved onto to Black Ops when I had a little gander on this the other day.

Heh, maybe they went to BO, realised there were no noob tubes, went "FFFFFFFUUUUUUU" and went back to MW2. But yeah, there are a lot less players on the MW series now.

Everyone should go back to CoD4 en forget the 3 games after that were ever made.

This makes me happy. Not that they won't figure out a way to get around it but still.
