March 3, 200917 yr Author I don't recall any of those models used in the While Guthix Sleeps quests but could someone look through all the cut scenes to double check. Then we will know if these models are new or if they were in the WGS quest? There is a posibility these are not new and the quest was later renamed While Guthix Sleeps. March 3, 200917 yr Yes yes yes!! I knew WGS wasn't THE big quest!! Dev diary today plox JAGEX? :D :D EDIT: Come to think of it, this could be for WGS.... although I cannot remember the skeleton. March 3, 200917 yr Author we see the person in the first pic when we touch the stone of jas (cutscene)Do you have a screenshot for confirmation? I can confirm that, the Neanderthal is the founder of the Freminnik tribe. "There are only two strategies in war. Move forward or change. March 3, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the confirmation of the Neanderthal. Any luck on the skelly? Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. March 3, 200917 yr I don't have a picture, but I have just double checked by looking through youtube vids. It's one of the skeleton warriors Lucien summons next to the chaos temple in the wilderness. Both characters were used in While Guthix Sleeps, but I suppose it doesn't rule out their use in a sequel...
March 3, 200917 yr The skeleton is summoned by Lucien. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhYAzVscqVI& It's the fourth one that pops up. EDIT: Darkjab beat me to it.

Dang, I got all excited for nothing  I did kinda remember that skeleton from the cutscene, but I didn't think it had two sets of hands.... "There are only two strategies in war. March 3, 200917 yr Author Aw well. My excitement over a new quest has been suitibly dampened lol. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. March 3, 200917 yr I'm almost certain that graphics artists have to sign a NDA before they can put that kind of information in their portfolios. It's likely that the original quest name was indeed "Return of Lucien", but got changed during the final development stages. Good looking out though. March 3, 200917 yr Oh well, Return Of Lucien would have been a lame name for the sequel anyways, seeing as that's essentially the plot of WGS and it would feel like we weren't progressing in the storyline. March 3, 200917 yr Even though they were already used, still a very cool find. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
March 4, 200917 yr So Jagex hires independent artists to make some of their models? Interesting. Nice find. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum!

Maybe Return of Lucien was the codename, like Carpentry became Construction. This isn't the first time independent artists have been discovered. All of Mechscape's concept art is from independent artists (minus the newest) hired.
March 4, 200917 yr Funny how I got all excited there for a minute even though I knew full well I'd seen the first one before. I guess it was the skeleton that got me. Kind of hard to remember an obscure prop like that from some battle cutscene (however awesome).
March 4, 200917 yr When I first saw the thread title I was like "OMG 150TH QUEST IS RELEASED OMGOSADJFSLDJFASL;KJFSL;FJ" Then I came down from that excitement. The skeleton is still a nice find, although i think we all knew that a sequel was coming.
March 4, 200917 yr *constantly refreshes portfolio for any new models* Shame that he probably has signed an agreement saying he can't display them until after release  . Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum!
March 5, 200917 yr Wait wait... Jagex has public graphical programs? This is news to me! "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang
