SlayerMalk
figured we needed a thread of this i thought of i guess a new way. since jagex was a noob and said no air strike we can use kegs to tank stats to 0 then use slow weapon like bronze hally or even bronze dagger what do you think

FirenLazah
I really didn't realize SO many people want to abuse the pvp system. Good job guys. because sooner or later jagex will make an update that will make Pvp words suck terribly because of this.

FirenLazah
Exactly. Its called Player versus Player worlds for a reason. Of course some cool kids are going to jump in here with their side of the argument and flame me because of my combat level. 26king IS NOT player killing. If you want to make cash, do something else. Not as in the sense of the real meaning of PKing. It's like comparing a pillowfight with your mate to a boxing match against the toughest lad in the area. They're not the same. Salad
I don't know what are you talking about... 26k? 26k, 26king or any other varient (TBH The real name is drop fixing) is simple. You have to lose AT LEAST 76k if you die while killing a friend that have 26k in cash or items (That he lose) to get items. Now if you want better drops you had to get potential up. Early after PvP was out people found a way to abuse the system to get good drops. Myself I made millions the first week with my friend using dragon spears. Then later (2 weeks or something like that) some friends started airstriking each other in a pvp hotspot so they couldn't get attacked while getting potential up. They were in a place where nobody would come so the air striking wouldn't be leaked. One day, somehow it got leaked then people started poping out of everywhere air striking each other, and if you would go at GE you would see loads of people trying to found a partener to air strike. People then started to use fun weapons so they wouldn't have to pay for minds, but it got fixed. Now they fixed air striking, but they forgot bronze weapons using keg of beers. Ok I didn't re-read my thingy so it may be messed up.

FirenLazah
Its still really stupid and is not technically player killing. No need to be a smart alek. Yes you kill them, but its abusing the pvp drop system. If it was player killing would Jagex be doing anything about it
Aegis Titan
Pff not like there's much pvp left... All I see are void nerds and their dark bows ruining good fights, or some random nerd who could buy claws. And all they do is camp at the edges, turn prayer on run in spec, pjing the other and making them lose like 100ks of decent gear for real pvp. Mostly it's like this, like 20 people fighting, 100 are ready to pj and all the rest is windstriking and some others are fighting with teams in the wild. Yes you kill them, but its abusing the pvp drop system. If it was player killing would Jagex be doing anything about it  point..... if it was against rules then jagex would ban it but of course they dont. its not abusing drop system and ill explain why. PVP TRICK DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR DROP. your gaining potential thats all you could do 3 hours of dp afking and doing nothing and get trash drops. normal pvp you dont get dp you stand there and rush somone or people would argue stand there for 5 min and play chicken and see who runs or dies first. 26k just gets dp cheap and safe so no it doesn't abuse the drop system. abusing the drop system would be performing actions that would get constant drops (the same ones) or allowed you to choose or increase chances of a rare pvp drop WHICH YOU CANT DO
Kimberly
26k just gets dp cheap and safe so no it doesn't abuse the drop system. PvP is NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE. If you're doing otherwise, you're abusing the system by using it in ways it was not originally intended to be used. Yes/no/obv?

Bladewing
Eh, as far as I'm concerned this is just about building potential. With the way the PvP worlds are [stupidly] set up, you have to build potential to "win". So until this changes, I'm all for bronze daggers on full rune. As far as actual "26king", I don't know my opinion on that yet. Why don't you just alch in Varrock houses or something? At least you're getting useful experience during your potential-building. Therefore, if people want drops, they must spend hours in hotzones.
Silver_Corner
Jagex don't care about the 26k thing. They designed it so it could be done that way, and told people how to do it. Sure, it kinda defeats what the PvP worlds were "designed for", but In Jagex's eyes they are doing an activity for a long period of time, and then reaping the rewards. The reason snowballing (Strike Spells) were taken out was because people were getting a decent amount of mage xp, for a low cost and for doing nothing but sit there. All while getting generous PvP rewards all at the same time. Jagex dosen't care if you use bronze hally's for 2 hours to increase your rewards, because you won't get alot of xp doing that. Not the kind of xp snowballing gave. At least now, spending 2 hours and getting nothing out of it, except a chance for better rewards, is justified. The PvP worlds should have never been released if the mechanism behind it is so easy to figure out 100s of ways to exploit. Need assistance in any of these skills?
