It's just a weaker granite maul, but one handed, and a bit faster. Though so what if it's faster? The whole point of the special is to ignore the speed of the weapon. Do you think people are just being scammed, they don't know what they're doing, or is there a use for this rock on a stick? I'm taking advantage of the new craze, yes, but I'm not lying to people. If they want to pay that much for it and ask ME to sell it to them...why not? Some people don't operate that way though and are probably taking advantage of people's ignorance. Before people actually knew what this mace DID, people were paying upwards of 3mil for it. I sold 4 of them for 250k each a few hours ago, to someone who was buying any he could find. Price will probably go to at least 100k (GE price I mean) and then the craze will end. No biggie really.
