Well the Wolpertinger is half bunny, but isn't exactly cute and fluffy.

Just as long as it isn't another costume, we already have half a dozen of those. And a *cute* pet bunny would be nice =]

Um, can anyone say that Jagex has actually cofirmed an Easter associated update this year? I mean they have in the past done the update more than a week prior to the holiday in question. Maybe MMG is Jewish and we'll get a Passover event. That would be sweeet.

i can't find any cute little things to associate with passover. It's like "yay let's celebrate the day when god killed a bunch of innocent kids for no other reason than the leader of their people liked having slaves!(not there is any evidence of hebrew people ever being enslaved in egypt mind you) I'll bring the potato pancake things, you bring the unleavened bread."

Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-

....What ? I'm Jewish and I can say that there is no way any god killed kids...Will you please explain that? And if you mean the 10th Plague, there's no proof that it happened just as there's no proof that the Jews were slaves.. (Which I believe by the way, has anyone noticed Israel's *convienent* geographical position in relation to Egypt?)

The easter bunny perhaps gets kidnapped this year, and we have to save him? That's an event I would like :D!

If the quest revolved around saving the Easter Bunny, no one would complete it.

Since the quest is supposed to be doable year round, I highly doubt it'd feature that cursed rabbit (Thank Saradomin ;) )

The thing that makes me sick about every single Easter event is that we're supposed to help some joker who has the worst time-management skills in all of Runescape.

How about... a pet bunny that you can eat for extra HP?

We already have a bun-YIP that heals us at an amazing rate.

Whatever the Easter Event is, one thing I can guarantee is that the Easter Bunny will be too lazy (As usual) to do it and seek us for help and will give us some chocolate reward.

I'm hoping this years Easter event will bring something much more interesting and fun then finding eggs and being rewarded with a cape with an emote, but thats just my opinion, but as many people have already said, with events come the noobs over-using the emotes to death.. -.-

Read the following than

Exodus 11:1 through 12:36 and Exodus 9:14, 16.

p.s. im not religious hehe . just showing that "God" in fact did kill kids according to the muslims, christians and jews. Not only the firstborn children, but the firstborn of all the livestock as well.

p.p.s. You might as well read the whole book of Exodus. Seeing as you are under the impression that certain events didn't happen due to lack of proof. and last but not least. Theres plenty of archaealogical evidence that the hebrews were enslaved for at least 80-100 years. They havent been digging up half of modern egypt for the past century without finding anything you know. :)

SheepiTails, I am highly surprised by your response here. I'm not joking, I'm seriously surprised.

You are, of course, entirely correct when you claim that there's no proof that it (the 10th plague) happened just as there's no proof that the Jews were slaves.

However, there is never any evidence that any god undertook any action at any time. If there were, people wouldn't believe in god(s), they would know god(s) existed.

So surely, whenever someone claims that a certain god did a certain thing, what he means is that people who believe in this god believe he did this thing.

So If I claim that the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl demanded human sacrifices, I do not actually mean that Quetzalcoatl demanded human sacrifices, rather I mean that the people who believed in Quetzalcoatl thought he demanded human sacrifices.

Similarly, If I were to say the god of the Jews and the Christians killed thousands of children in the 10th plague, what I mean is that the people who believe in veracity of the writings describing this god's actions, that these people believe this god killed thousands of children in the 10th plague.

It is without question that many people in history did indeed believe in, and worship, gods which were evil by today's standards.

"Noob" is an insult. "Noob" is overused. Be polite. Try to say "noob" less than once a day.

Thank you.

Actually, he might as well read the whole old testament. There's plenty of senseless killing in the name of god in there. Anyway, do you have a source on the enslavement of the hebrews? I remember reading something saying they had never found anything to substantiate claims of hebrews enslaved in egypt. As far as historical accuracy goes, the bible reads like the national enquirer anyway though, so who knows. I mean the earliest accounts of the existence of Jesus was the book of matthew, written years after this death. The other gospels were written at least 70 years later. This was supposed to be during the time of the Romans, and we all know those silly bastards recorded everything.

When it comes to the history of religion, Magzar has no idea what he's talking about (as has frequently been the case on other topics as well). But I humbly suggest that instead of allowing his ignorance to ignite a flame war, why don't we all drop this topic. It has nothing to do with Runescape. The internet is full of bulletin boards where the ignorant debate religion. I hope we can keep this one free of that.

Um, ok then. Excuse me for bringing up a few facts. I invite you to disprove me since you think I'm ignorant. I wasn't trying to start a flame war though, and it seems to me you're the one who's calling names. So why don't you go do a little research, maybe bone up on the definition of ignorance, and leave the discussions to those of us capable of carrying one on? mmk?

No. Since it's a Passover event you'd need a traditional reward. Plus, the event could be awesome. Learning how to make Kosher food, seperate milk and meat dragon plates fro Diango, maybe drinking from his magic matzaball soup ten times and getting exp? I mean why not?

And instead of the Easter Bunny, you could have a little rabbi. I've seen a lot of names on Runescape, but would be cool to finally see a Sol or Herschel. =D>

Easter Bunny has a storyline.

Last year you had to catch the bunnies and make them choclate.

So this year you'll problely be deliviering them..

What was 2 year's ago event?

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.
