Esper_Jones
Many are bored with this game forever, and the challenges thread provides many interesting ideas. However, I've seen this challenge posed on another community, and I would like to see how you all take it! It's honor-based, so remember. The goal is to start with zero items, and to try to reach 1M gp as fast as possible. You are allowed to bank items, but you are not allowed to withdraw anything that was not placed after starting the goal. You are also not allowed to use any tools you did not obtain after starting the challenge. You are however allowed to use all your skills! An example of doing this would be going to Rimmington, taking the bronze pick, and mining gold until you reach 1M gp. Obviously, this is not the fastest way. So, does anyone want to participate? ilovesilvia
I hate it when someone starts a new thread which is basically the same as another thread. Except the other thread's idea was fresh and this one isn't. LOL.

warrior5024
Except that this was originally started on Truthscape, and is, in my opinion, a much cooler idea. I've always wanted to try it, but I'd just have to pick up a bronze pick, mine 2 ores, sell them, buy rune pick, then mine for 2 hours. THIS THREAD IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THEN THE "BE SEF-SUFFICIENT" ONE! This one was started months ago. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb. Skeptical
Kind of copied off the other thread, and the only realistic way with mid-level skills is to use the G.E. to merchant, so it really isn't that much of a challenge if you know how to merch... Master_Smither
If I were to do this I'd pick up a bronze pick mine an ore make that pick and repeat until I have a rune pick. Then I'd mine tons of rune ore until I had 1M. Sounds kind of fun and I might do it sometime. You can say that the other thread copied that one if you want. The goal of this is to find all the weird skill-based ways that people know to do this.
