Embrace
I live in North Carolina. And some of you may consider this spam. But honestly, that is one of the best games I have ever seen. So, this is sort of like, who all saw that game and who thought it was simply AH-MAZING... Btw, North Carolina Hurricanes vs. New Jersey Devils. My Blog!!! xSxqPowerx
Believe there's an NHL thread. Was a good game though... although the Hurricanes were just lucky to beat Brodeur on that Staal shot.
Embrace
Oh, there is? Sorry, I didn't see it. Trust me, Eric Staal blowing full steam ahead and pulling of that shot, was amazing! My Blog!!!
Nero
I have a cane. It's a magnificently crafted piece of wood, perfectly fitting to my height and openly flaunting of the superb craftmanship that was required to make it. Mostly I just use it to poke people on the street with though. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino

Necromagus
I used a cane for a while to help me walk while I had a hernia. It was ebony with a silver head, very nicely made, used by a distant uncle I never met. deathdrow
My dad has a cane, I used to play with it a lot when I was little. Now I use it for getting rid of cobwebs on my ceiling.
IGoddessI
lol I thought this thread would be about using the cane in schools for some reason. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours. indy500fan
I thought the thread was just a misspelling of Cannes, about the film festival. Then the second thing that popped in my head were actual canes.

PuppyKing
They sell pretty cool looking canes at wal-mart. They are wooden with wierd bear heads on the tops of them. I think Snoop Dogg has one with diamonds and stuff on it. I think its called a "Pimp stick" I have never used a cane, but I think they are pretty cool. Blog. Lenin64
I have a friend that's really not very bright. A few years ago, after purchasing a fine quality cane at a flea market in Illinois, I managed to convince him that, due to a build up of lactic acid from prolonged periods of intense exercise, the muscles in my right leg had degenerated and I required the use of a cane. I kept it going a few months, then highschool came and we were at different schools so I didn't see him a whole lot. About a month ago I saw him again, and after talking for awhile he said, "Oh, hey, no cane! Looking good!". This really only worked because I had never told him it was permanent, and that I was working with physical therapy and whatnot, but I got a real laugh out of it when I left. Now that I think about it, he may have never actually believed me and was simply humoring me, or he might have realized it to be a lie when he saw me "healed up". I don't know. I have two canes; the aforementioned flea market cane, with a spiraled lower half and handle, not a loop, and one from Mexico that my parents got me while they were on a cruise. That one's got Mexican etchings and painting on it, with a loop handle. Command the Murderous Chalices! I believe we have a cane in the attic, but I've never properly looked at it. I think it had a twisty ivory handle, it's probably worth a fair amount. ~ W ~
