Fury prices omg

The fury amulets was 2m for not so long ago and yester day i saw they had a market price of 1.7m, i bought one at lowest and got a fury for 1,5m (Omg) and today its down at 1.4m, its skydiving, clan merch? anyone?

Probably people have gotten them from PvP thus they have been dropping since?

Its hard to say, but it does not look like its been manipulated. Theres probably just very little demand, so people put their furies on GE for min and hope for them to sell. People see the fury dropping like crazy, so they put theres in the GE at min in a panic.

OK, im really worried that i did a bad purchase, think they will go up again to 2m or so?

They're going up now, i can't buy at mid price. Just been on W2, and i think everything that's just suddenly crashed will rise.

SirHemen asked a similar question 2 days ago agout the BGS. My answer was that because of the new Bounty PvP some prices will crash. They won't stay down very long though. As you can see some of the things are already going back up, but be sure that they will fall again soon after they went up. After rising and falling a few times they will go back to were they were. This might take 3 weeks, it might take 3 months its hard to tell but one thing is certain and that's that they will go back to were they were.

 

 

 

Kingjoe taking advantage of this is a very great idea. Your berserker rings are going to fetch you atleast 300k ea. I myself invested and if i am right i will make about 75mil profit out of this ;)

Ok, thanks i was really worried when it lost 5-6´m value that fast.

 

 

 

..also, why am i so damn stupid that i didn't buy 3-4 furys then kept em until they went back up? well, i guess ill make a 500kish profit if they go back up to their normal value again, but i might keep it since its so hawt :lol:

I bought my fury when it was 5mil and have had it since, all items come down in price over time(except for rares). But i just buy items to keep and use not to buy low and then try to sell high.

And that fury has probably made you more money than if you were to have merched it as well. Items like that are an investment. Its like a dragon axe, if you buy one and chop 3k yews, then the next day the axe goes down 100k...o well? you just invested in it to make over 1m in items, so its still a major profit. Nonconsumables value goes far beyond what the GE price is, the extra hits and str from a fury vs a glory add up over time, why do you think people buy them for 2-3m vs just spending 40k on a glory?

 

 

 

Basically what im trying to say is, even if over time the price of furies greatly decline (like they have been) someone who has invested in one can still make money off of it.

I got my furry long enough ago that I don't care if it becomes cheep. I expect this is just another item price beign slaughtered by changes to pvp. I know a few other items have been hit hard. As long as SS's don't start dropping, I think i'll be fine. If SS's start dropping in pvp, I think i'll just go [cabbage] a brick (maybe a few bricks).

Im not trying to merch it but i usually buy stuff then sell when i dont need them anymore.

Besides stoels for when you need that ectra bit of prayer :D Not really much to add...just don't like absolute statements liek that.

 

 

 

Anyways, don't worry much. If you have a legitimate use for the item, you don't need to worry about the price after it's been bought. In all honesty price drops are a good thing, because if you ever die and lsoe your stuff you can buy it back cheaper. Personally, I find it much easier to just not buy something if you'll constantly be on gaurd about the price, just get it and forget it :thumbsup:

That +5 prayer for a stole gets rid of the +10 attack bonuses and +8 str bonus from the fury. As being able to kill faster makes the difference of prayer kind of futile.

I don't think so, but it will most likely rise a bit, as people start to buy them at the new, lower prices.

That is unless prayer is the limiting factor such as at say...Arma or Dks.
