Pirate_Felix
I think they cant express all my expressions, are there going to be new one? Besides, i have made one, can that one be added? dsavi
If you really have good ideas for emotes, I'm pretty sure that a few could be added... Emoticons are not such big things to add. The emotes would probably have to be of good quality and fit in with the rest of the ones we have already.
InkofDeath
:twss: We already have that particular smiley, and when you have current smilies we have now, and take away the above smile, there really isn't anything more to be added except for somewhat 'childish' or useless emotions that don't serve the point of any post and would be used just because they are 'there', and create spam posts with them, instead of them being used to actually give a sense of the desired emotion to the post that the author wants to make. Which is why we don't need anymore, any kind of emotion you want to add through the purpose of the emotions or any kind of feeling you want to add to a post can already be done easily with the current selection of emotions. There are probably emotions out there Tip.It could acquire to use but in my opinion none of the popular emotions presented through-out other forums right now have any credibility to be considered in my opinion. Like I don't want to see posts with smilies in them just because the smilies are there to use, and not because the smiley doesn't serve a purpose in the post, related to the post. Just my thoughts. Mil
The ones that are currently in use are well recognized and familiar to most. It would be pretty cool to have some RuneScape related ones though, such as Skill icons.

InkofDeath
Skate, of course :twss: has many uses and certainly expresses the emotion you want put in your post. That would be why we have that emotion, correct? I was talking about the spinoffs of that base emote, which was presented by Felix. Any of the emotes based off of this :twss: aren't needed as they'd just be duplicates of already installed emotes. My point was, I don't see any reason to have the twss emote. Maybe it's me, but I don't see a message or emotion in it. Like I don't want to see posts with smilies in them just because the smilies are there to use, and not because the smiley doesn't serve a purpose in the post, related to the post. I think this is already the case for the TWSS smiley, so why not add a slightly different variation of it too? To me that emotion gets through sarcasm more so than any other emote is capable of, or posting with ignorance, or whatever the true reason behind that emote being added to the emotions list we have. I've already explained why not though, because a variation or alteration of the emotion wouldn't serve the same purpose; to be used in the correct manner or with fine reasoning behind it other than just spam or it just being there. Why? Because there's an emotion for everything already, and a variation of that smiley would just be overlapping what another emotion already succeeds at doing. But as I said before, if there's a specific group or single smiley, whether it's a variation of any smilies, then post it, and we will all see how it goes from there. But for now, we've only been presented with one emotion and there's no point for that emotion.
Mil
Anyway, I've had these for a while (can't remember what I used them for beforehand; probably some signature...); I know that they aren't all consistent in shape and size, but meh. ;) You can download the whole pack here: http://Mil-an.co.uk/files/runescape.icons.cropped.zip These probably won't get too much use in posts and so on, the only places where I could see them being used is Blogscape and Rate This. Of course, people may find it useful in signatures, but I am guessing not as much due to Tip.It's, and other sites', Stat Signatures. Use it if you wish; I have had them lying around cropped on my computer. I am pretty sure that all of the icons are from RuneScape.com, with the combat icon coming from Tip.It - all I have done is cropped them (I think - I can't really remember when ). InkofDeath
I think there's a lot of potential in these, especially for blogscape or even in some guides. As well as in signatures. I wouldn't mind seeing those used, but they definitely have a lot of potential to be used with blogs, guides, signatures, PM's, and almost any RuneScape-related forum. - Cowman = Hater. If i wanted to use one of these, either way i would need to upload images to use as emoticons since i cant use them without going over my limit. Actaully I think I have about 3 ish spaces left to play around with but trust me, they aren't needed in my opinion.
Mil
If they are there, they will be used. They are not NEEDED as such, but at least they would be useful to some people. I don't see a huge reason why not; apart from server bandwidth and space, which I don't think is too much of a problem in this case.

I wasn't even aware there was a limit, but Tip.It appropriate graphics like those shouldn't be dismissed just because some people have used their limit of emoticons or smilies. Mil
I like those, they are useful. Perhaps I should add icons for Quests and and Achievement Diaries too. Anything else that is missing that people would find useful? However, I don't think this should be "turn every RuneScape icon into a forum emote icon." So there has to be a limit I guess. RayOxide
Why not have a Personal folder of emotes (if possible) where we could drag our favourite emotes into a selected folder we have created? Maybe make it so the folder is like a drop down menu thing so it doesnt open another window or tab? And I really like the skill-emotes. They would be nice for decorations. das
To my knowledge, the jagex skill emotes may run into some copyright issues. :twss: is my own personal emote.
