Makoto_the_Phoenix
I honestly laughed out loud. Thanks. Anyway, since I don't feel like dissecting your post ideal for ideal, I'll put it like this: If you can't ignore it when you're called a noob, you shouldn't be on the Internet. Lets_3ekout
Being called noob is prime use of the ignore list. You DONT want Jagex getting censor happy again. As for the word nazi being censored, talking about that whole subject can be deeply offensive to some people. You might not be able to understand why, but just be respectful about it. magzar
That makes me think of the prank awhile back where someone made those LED roadwork signs say "Caution! Nazi Zombies Ahead!" and other such things. Epic prank tbh. Also. GTFO noob. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. jimmy_jim
The word newbie is a variant of 'new boy' and comes from British public school and military slang[citation needed]. In the 1960s the term "newbie" also had a limited usage among U.S. troops in the Vietnam War as a slang term for a new man in a unit. A common variant is "n00b" or "noob", and is used as a pejorative for a user who fails to learn from experience, or in some cases, to degradingly refer to users who disrupt other users. I don't think the word 'noob' should be blocked. It's commonly used throughout the Internet, and shouldn't be taken seriously. The word "Nazi" refers to the National Socialist German Workers Party which was ruled by Adolf Hitler. Nazi isn't a hate crime group, it's a political party. That's why they called it the nazi party. Anyway I think it's a harsh generalization to hate them as a whole. For the most part they were soldiers no different than our own. They had the choice to follow orders or die. Don't try to tell me you would have done any differently. Just imagine the guilt they had to live with for what they were forced to do in the name of Germany. That's not to say what they did was right, but it's unfair to generalize in that way. Generalizations like those were the entire foundation of the Germans' views on Jews. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. Generalizations like those were the entire foundation of the Germans' views on Jews. But the term Nazi doesn't have to directly refer to the Nazi party its most commonly used to refer to there actions. For example the term Grammar Nazi, it doesn't refer the style of grammar the Nazi Party used. Its used to refer to someone or a group of people who believe grammar must be as perfect as possible when used and try to force there views on others. The hate group I was referring to was the modern version of the Nazi party, Neo Nazi. Which is widely known as a racist hate group. The original Nazi party started as a similar style group until it expanded to the degree it did at which stage, as you stated, forced others into the group regardless of whether they wanted to or not. To say the Nazi party isn't a hate group is the same as saying the BNP or similar party aren't. Me_Hate_Libs
For the first part, I'll quote Little Richard. "NO! Shut up!" As far as Nazi, it's censored because there is never any reason why the subject should be discussed on Runescape. And it'll generally be used to offend other people. If you want to discuss that topic, get off the game. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
