Of course, this will take some patience, as the exp will go up slower. It's pretty good, but there are good substitutes for those who aren't very serious about strength training (D Scimmy or obby sword) When you use whip in strength mode, you will get shared xp, for attack, strenght and defence. If you want to train strenght only, without also upping attack and defence, use dragon scimitar. It's quick and cheap. But then you can't use it at any of the best spots because it conflicts with a salve amulet.
