m0nkeym0j030
I personally think this will be a pretty close fight. Mayweather is a defensive GURU. Pacquiao will come in, Mayweather will just sneak out of the way and throw counters. Although Mayweathers defense is amazing, i was watching the De La Hoya vs Mayweather video today, and I saw points where Pac-man could easily throw some blistering fists into Mayweather. I personally think that Pacquiao will prevail in the end, because Mayweather has never faced anyone similar to Pac-man, and Mayweather usually just fights people that he knows he can beat. It's going to be a unique fight. Speed vs speed + Offence vs defence. Who do you think will win? Pacquiao? Mayweather? Or will it not happen? :o (bleep) All haters I see, Cause I hate that you breath, I see you duck you little punk you lil freakin disease.

Shin
UFC > Boxing Get out with your unrefined sport. My money is on Pacquiaco. Since Mayweather is an orthodox boxer, he's going to have trouble against a Southpaw. Mayweather in his past had trouble, and no way he could get adjusted to a southpaw so quickly. Its going to be a good fight though, looking forward to it.

whocares
I'm going with Mayweather. Even though he's taken a break from boxing, he will no doubt be in shape and ready to fight on fight night. Pacquio is fast, but I wouldn't take his win over Hatton into too much consideration when predicting this fight because not only did noone predict that, but Hatton is a much different fighter than Mayweather. Btw, I watch UFC too. :D

Pacquiaos record : 48 wins, 3 draws, two losses. 36 KO's (Two losses came when he was new to boxing) Mayweather : 39 wins, 0 draws, 0 losses. 25 kos. Sly_Wizard
This fight has already been booked? Edit: Yeah, I don't think this fight is going to happen anytime this year, or at all. Link The injury sustained by Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made it more possible for Manny Pacquiao to favor a clash with World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, according to ESPN sports analyst Dan Rafael. Rafael said Mayweathers training injury has pushed away the possibility of a fight with Pacquiao before year end. Floyd Mayweather Jr., who would have presented the biggest money for Manny Pacquiao came up with an injury and forced a postponement of his July fight with Marquez, pushing away the possibility of a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight in the fall, Rafael said in a video interview on ESPN. Rafael thinks that Cotto could be the next biggest fight for Pacquiao, who is coming off a spectacular second-round knock-out victory over Ricky Hatton. Its an easy fight to make because they're in the same promotional company, he said. Rafael also said Pacquiao thinks he can handle the Puerto Rican champion, who had a hard time beating Joshua Clottey. [Top Rank promoter Bob] Arum said to me after the [Cotto] fight that Pacquiao thought Cotto is vulnerable and that he was interested in that fight, said Rafael. The Pacquiao-Cotto fight was tentatively set on November 14 to give the Puerto Rican some time to heal the cut he sustained during his fight with Clottey. Boxing fans have been raving a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight since the former pound-for-pound king came out of retirement. Mayweather, however, sustained a rib injury while sparring in preparation for his fight with bitter Pacquiao foe Juan Manuel Marquez.
1_man_army
This fight has already been booked? Not yet but it will probably come after Mayweather fights Marquez (which is now delayed because of Mayweather injuring himself in training).
