Dire_Wolf
Recently when i was in PvP i clicked Price checker and in it stated: "Current Trade Limit: 118,000" And this went down and up (I don't know why) "Current Trade Limit: 112,000" Anyhow i have done all quests so my trade limit is 60,000. 112,0000 and 118,000 is close to 120,000 which is dobbel of my trade limit. So perhaps this is a hint of Doubel Trade coming next update?

Poppet
Do we need to "double" it again its only increases RWT. Really do we need to trade 120k gp every 15 minutes or 480k gp an hour? :l Last,I hope if they do update it so we can turn it off. :D
Karvinen
Do we need to "double" it again its only increases RWT. RWT is not a problem if throw away accounts and stolen credit cards aren't used. Throw away accounts are low level and have smaller limits, which makes them useless for real world trading. So what if high level accounts RWT? High level accounts are rarer than level 3s, so it's easier to banhammer high level RWTers. An account paid with a stolen credit card will not survive for long time enough to become high level. Dire_Wolf
For everyone who notices me spelling "Double" wrong: 1) Dobbel is what it is spelt in Norwegian so it's not always easy to switch from Norwegian to English. 2) I can't believe alot didn't understand what i meant even when i spelt it in Norwegian. The word was spelt wrong according to English but it's same message, so stop being confused people! Double trade is something someone in Jagex announced would come. Darkkalphite
Since trade limit is based on quest points I think people with a quest cape should have a 100k limit. No no I believe you, but that's not the point. Why double the trade limit if you try to fight the RWT thing?Because people are impatient. When they want something, they want it now. No one is going to wait a month to transfer, what, 20k? And then the RWTer has to do all of these quests to gain a more significant trading amount. Before, everything could be done in one trade, thus RWTing had more value and insurance for the buyer. However, it's now much easier for the seller to simply give you one trades worth of gold and log off. If you're really that incompetent to pay for RS gold without compensation, well... Dexek
This has occurred ever since they added that feature. It's just graphical, as you can't really trade that limit. Although sometimes I get a bug where it says my limit is less than it is, and sadly it isn't graphical as it won't let me trade that limit. -.- PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

magzar
Personally I don't see any problem with increasing the trade limit based on quest points. Seems to me that having 60k for the max QP at the time the trade limit was added, and then increasing it marginally after that would work well. Considering the fact that players who have gone through enough of the game to increase their levels high enough to do the quests required are less likely to buy gold than low level players trying to get ahead, It seems to be a very very narrow avenue for RWT, and one that would be much easier to tighten. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]
n64jive
trade limit should be based on skill total or days since creation date. I've been playing since 2002, and the amount of players like me are limited(not saying there isn't any). It would be easier for Jagex to monitor RWT if say for every 3 months since creation date, your trade limit increases by a set number. There could be other limitations as well. I think the reason they probably don't do this is it gives people who been playing longer an advantage. Really, who cares though. The longer you play, the more loyalty you have shown. Its the same concept of as you get older, the more responsibilites you get.
Dire_Wolf
I think Jagex done a nice way to solve RWT. I have disliked alot of the updates, but the approach they took to give back to players who don't RWT is good. Even so: 1) Max QP Takes alot time and level 2) Double trade is for friends who's been on your list So i don't see how RWTs would increase much with double trade. trade limit should be based on skill total or days since creation date. I've been playing since 2002, and the amount of players like me are limited(not saying there isn't any). etpelletier
Wow i've reported this as a bug like 3 months ago  It's because you recently recieved 60k worth of wealth. and when you go on price checkers, it adds that value to your original trade limit instead of decreasing it :P Then it slowly fades away as your normal limit returns to 60k. Merely creating an account is not. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
