And those same people - the ones eating their bellybutton lint - are the ones that pretend to be girls on RS, and all over the Internet. So if you want to develop a "relationship" over RS with someone like that, be my guest. Just don't blame me if/when you meet them and find out they act, talk and eat dirtier than than the glowing green sludge you always see the mutants/monsters/whatever come out of in horror movies. If it's someone's personal preferance (you never know, maybes all the girls/guys in their area are just plain idiots or something :lol: ), then so be it. BUT, Internet dating is NOT alright because in some cases (it's actually rarer that this happens then the person actually being genuine on Runescape), one or the other is older then they have said and in extreme cases are a different gender. And they don't know this, because they haven't seen or heard one or another before. Storytime: I'm 23 years old. I've played on Runescape for over eight years, making me 15 when I started. When I did start, within a few months I got into a relationship with a girl on there. (I'm female also, which makes it a LOT less believable that the girl on the other side is actually a girl.) I didn't know who she was for real or if she was actually female for a good four weeks. She then gave me her mobile number (which was harder then you thought *rofls*) and I called her and she was the real deal! And now? Eight years later, I'm living with her and madly in love with her again. Proof that, again in extreme cases, that internet dating can ACTUALLY work on Runescape. I used to play rs with my partner and people assumed we were 13 year old kids dating on rs, at the time that we'd been living together for six months. And you're right, pixels isn't dating. Going on picnics, hanging out, touching, kissing, special moments shared, going to dinner/movie... That's dating. Doing the "headbang" emote because it looks like humping isn't dating.
