Can't remember the last time where there was no second or third update needed to get the game back up to standards. Zaniks crossbow still doesn't work with broad bolts I just tested it. They made all the text darker on the right click which is a bit annoying on the eyes. I will play MA in a sec, but so far I'm a little pissed with this update. Why change the whole layout and interface without asking for anyones views. Sorry this is a bit of a rant, but I was so excited about this update. My point is that they seem to be minigame happy over at Jagex Towers. I'd like something that's "cutting edge" and "innovative" and not have it be a minigame. n64jive Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 Jagex tends to try new things in terms of updating interfaces... as for minigames, I'm pretty sure back in 2007 there is a "whats your favorite new content" poll, and the majority picked new skill, followed by new minigames(however, it seems like the game is going mini-game crazy now)... It seems like Jagex is trying to create a hybrid genre out of runescape. It's now a MMORPG complete with RTS, Hack'nSlash, Boardgames(games room, which never gets used)...whats next? When did I say that my opinion must naturally be shared by everyone? When did I even mention what anyone else does or does not think? Can I not give my opinion? Let's be honest here: Jagex has created tons of minigames. It's clearly been a focal point for them in the past 2 years. In my opinion, too much so. This years two biggest updates have been Soul Wars and MA, both minigames. My opinion on the matter was only that I'd like them to put as much effort they have supposedly put into this and have it *not* be a minigame. Whether that be quest, boss monster, the new tools they mentioned few weeks back, etc. But, and here's another opinion. I think you should join the Olympic Long Jumping team.
