The bar is as follows: Pencils hanging from the ceiling, 2 stools sitting by the bar tender, bright pink walls and polka music on. They decide to sit next to the bartender. The plumber takes the first seet, the old man takes the second and teacher takes the third. The plumber orders a cotton candy, the teacher orders french fries and the old man orders a razor and shaving cream. After tales of their tresure hunting, they leave. If the hats on the first and second man are the same color, the third man can answer that his hat is the other color. Since you can only ask one, and it can be the same, they can simply say that the other is going to tell the truth, or a lie. You do not find the direction that way. If you ask the truth teller what the liar will say, the truth teller will (truthfully) tell you that the liar will lie and point to the opposite direction that you should go. If you ask the liar what the truth teller will say, he will lie and point to the wrong direction. So no matter what, you go the opposite way.
