It's shorter to type it that way. Also, if you want to be consequent, you should in the future type out ffs too, because technically you could see buy as an abbreviation of buying.

There are much worse typing people in Runescape. And did you think he would appreciate you when you took time out of both your lives to correct him by saying "add three letters"? As I have said earlier, I can tolerate things fairly easily (notice how I did not insult the person in any way during the conversation). I came here to the Rants forum to vent my frustration. As I have also said earlier, I admit my rant was poorly written, as I did not give much for the forum users to talk about. I will keep this in mind next time I have/make a rant.
