Saru Inc Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 My mom was born a catholic, my dad, a free methodist (which ironically is one of the more strict sects of Christianity) whenever my mom would talk about God, or even say how Mass went, her mom who, somehow (don't ask me how) was a occultist, and satanist; would beat the [cabbage] out of my mom, like make her go to the er. And she was a legit fortune teller, my mom was once smoking weed, and her mom called the school and told the school where my mom was, cutting class and smoking weed. Meanwhile, my grandma was in another state. She was literally psychic. And so after my mom finally moved out, she basically declared to never talk about the occult again. And anyone who talks about it, are satanic. She hates Marilyn Manson, she says, all atheists, agnostics, Laverne (sp) satanists, Buddhists, Muslims, anyone who wasn't a born again, is satanic. Because Satan is telling them God isn't real. When I brought up how I was pretty sure Britney Spears was an atheists,she said "well Sam thats why I don't want you listening to that either." >.> Also, I mean, you gotta admit, there's a stigma surrounded my MM about killing parents\shooting up schools. Also, my dad is senior reporter at 700 Club, and buddy buddy with Pat Robertson. My parents are both intelligent, and kind people, I guess. But sometimes they got some wack views.
