Whether youre fluent in the language or just learning, you can give it a try by clicking on the Brazilian flag at the top-left of the website.

Remember, they're a company, they aren't gonna waste time making a spanish version of RS if no Latinos are gonna play.

I would have thought that 300 million Spanish speaking people in Latin America and 47 million people in Spain would be a bigger demographic than 190 million Brazilians and 10 million Portuguese. Whenever I go on the French servers, most of the people on there either don't speak French or are Canadian and speak English as well. Not much different, just sayin' :P But, I suppose people in Spain play more than Latinos - from what I understand South America/Mexico/a lot of U.S. Latinos aren't particularly well off...
July 23, 200916 yr I hate those worlds! =| Don't get me wrong, I was born and raised in Portugal and still reside there but the thing is, Brazilian Portuguese is a lot different from European Portuguese (specially in terms of grammer) and not to mention that some translations are just, how shall I say it, strange (not the correct word but the least offensive). Cities, skills, quests, items, etc, received ridiculous names (I know, I'll get used to but it is still ridiculous nonetheless, any PT speaking person can see that). So my rant is over... And I have to admit it is a great thing for all Brazilians and will probably generate more people in the game but other type of Portuguese speaking people will have great trouble to understand some words and if they just took a little more time to find greater translations for some words, it would look much more professional. I'm sticking to English, thank you. July 23, 200916 yr Well, I've got some mixed feelings about this update. I'm portuguese too, and as said above the translation on some core features (such as Edgeville's or some skills) feel somewhat odd. Nonetheless, some brazilian players have also showed their concern about the translation not being quite correct for brazilian portuguese on some words either. As for me, I'll be sticking with english-based worlds and use the *only* member world when i need emptier worlds for anything. P.S: It's been confirmed on the portuguese-based forums by 1 of the Jagex Mod's that the official announcement for this has been delayed, to avoid flooding of these worlds for now. I'm guessing they will be properly introduced next week, along the update day...

Jagex would probably rather put in a few Mandarin Chinese servers than Japanese or Korean ones just because of the large amount of people that live in China.
