I tried getting into them a few years ago, but it's really not my thing. While his playing in the studio songs obviously is better (albeit hardly anything deserving of the praise he gets) the fact that I haven't seen one good improv solo by him live, leads me to believe they hire in some monkey for the studio songs. Also, high-tech studio equipment can do wonders to crappy musicians.

Synyster Gates is about the same to guitar as Joey Jordison is to drumming.

I really doubt you would have made a list if no one else had in the first place. You're kind of missing the point here; the rest of us have been waiting patiently to make our lists in an organized fashion. You're just going ahead and making your own saying it's unrelated to How2PK's idea. You are what is killing the idea of each person having their own special week to share their music.

I just randomly clicked on the first video I saw. Christ it's just awful, he sounds like me after 10 beers.

The whole thing was based around each user having their own week to share their music with the rest of the forums. The rest of us are patiently waiting for our turn. It's rather annoying when someone just goes ahead and makes their own list without being called up while the rest of us wait.

You're right, there isn't a rule. It is common courtesy though to wait, especially since everyone else has. Like I said though I really don't care at this point as the system has already been messed up.

More importantly have you heard the band's guitarist? I'm not even joking, I think he might just be the worst guitarist in the world, especially considering his popularity and how long he's played. Fred Durst is a better and more technically proficient guitarplayer.

I don't even need to watch that video to know he's not the best, I watched these videos of him playing guitar the other day and he [bleep]ed up. Alot. Zack just stared at him like "WTF are you doing..."

Other people have been 'rebellious' by posting their own lists too, which is why people get a bit iffy. What's so bad about patience?

Like Nadril said, it's just common courtesy. People are going to be less likely to bother viewing them if there's too many... The fact that there are only a handful at the moment is a good thing. And there's a difference between rebelling for the greater good and rebelling because you're stubborn, selfish and rude.

I'm not a movie/music God and I don't pick out the people. I chose the person who made the first list, after that the maker of the list can decide who will make the next list. I thought it would be 'fun' to do it this way, people make contact a bit, everything is organized, people will get appreciation for the time spent on the lists and you also have some time to check new things out.

Although it's kinda obvious he can play like that in the studio without help, since he has the hand movements and whatnot, just his improv solos obviously suck very badly. I mean, alot of the times it looked like he couldnt decide which string.
