Seraphi
A transport ship is dispatched to take a few of the Urk-Orz suits and study them. I will probably end up using the design on my drones.
Retech
Archi, I think you've added an unintended consequence to your plan. Everyone will be using exosuits. :) Master of your domain? The_Mather1
Consider it done. Archi, can you please give me the exact specifics of those exosuits? Leave nothing unanswered but maybe the exact location of each chip/wire/motor. Ship-specs have been added to the hegepedia. Retech
Keep in mind the better the stats for your ships, the more pp they will cost. It seems your Tel Taks cost at least 275 each, and your fighters 120. Just make sure you know what you're getting into. Master of your domain? Retech
Obviously that would seem to work, but the system in this game is that you can't. Retech
Well if you consider the power of your fighters and how many are produced, they probaly could complain. Also, I am putting a battlestation around the gas giant in Meoxo. It will be done on the 10th. Master of your domain? I am Lord of the manor, Queen of the castle, King of the county! Seraphi
Mather, I've had to edit all of my stuff, and I think everyone else has too. How many PP is each of your jumpers/tel'tac/other ships worth, and how many PP do you have in total? I'm sure if your system doesn't convert so well and you end up with a fleet that is too weak, then we can mess around with it and find a happy medium. The_Mather1
Most of the "power" my fighters have is speed, the weapons-power is only XXXXX. What is the rate in which PP is added per station exactly? Twitter: @TheMather1
Retech
Correct, and my fighters have a weapons power of 2. Your fighters have a PP cost of 120 (combining all the stats). Mine have a total cost of 3. I could make 40 fighters for everyone you make, which totals to 80 points of offensive power. -------------- 200 PP per station and 500 pp per planet without a station. The_Mather1
To maintain the same production-rate(which is only fair) the costs are: Jumpers = 0.069444444 PP Tel'taks = 0.138888889 PP And the fighters are aproximatly 0.05 X-303s = 1500 PP City-ships = 75000 PP Now for the fun of it: Drones = 0.005479452 PP My ground factories shall count as specialized construction stations. Seraphi
OH GOD THE DECIMALS THEY BURN. Just change the PP cost, the number of ships you have, and then tell us how many PP you are getting per turn. I added a page to the hegepedia for my Hephaestus Nanohosts. I made sure they werent overpowered, but I still need confirmation from you Archi.
The_Mather1
Your fighters are 40 times more powerful yet cost 1/60th?My fighters are 2.5 times as powerful, a lot faster, the size of a jet fighter and costs 1/60th. In this case I bilieve it is on your side logic has failed. But ok Ross: Ground stations produce 288 PP each for their kind of spacecraft(and none other). Jumpers cost 2Fighters cost 2.5Tel'taks cost 5 I have five of each so that equals 720 jumpers, 360 tel'taks and 576 fighters a year. Seraphi
Mather, no. Your ships cannot be stronger, smaller and faster and yet cost a lot less.Follow the rules, just like everyone else has.
Retech
I was refering to the PP cost, which is in essense the measure of strength. It's arguable, but in this system a unit of speed is the same as a unit of weapons power. The reason I created such crappy fighters is because you can throw a lot of them at the enemy. Yours seem to be more numerous but are superior to mine in every way. That is not how the system is supposed to work. Master of your domain? archimage_a
Actually is is pretty much exactly how the system is supposed to work. Some races do have inherant advantages.Since Mather has "super faster" and "super firepower" he also has no shields are no armour. His fighters are 1 hit killed. Additonally his weapons are point blank range. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts. Retech
Then his PP cost is supposed to be far higher, like a battleship. I was led to believe that any modifiers would be in the range of 5-10%.
