huh, I may as well calculate mine then. I'll say I've kept a 0% growth rate, since I've been trying to keep it steady.

Ok, so with a 1% gdp growth rate over the past 60 years my total budget (not gdp) is now: 14.6 trillion total, including all of my colonies. Dayumm.

Also, 50 million people per station is a little bit much. Actually, a lot much. That basically means the entire population of earth could only have 120 stations, if every single person on the planet was working for the stations.

I think he means a max, doesn't mean it is.

No problem Kirby! It's just the worst when you're forced to start from scratch when building stations, so I decided to give you a small boost. After all, you did help me with the YO15 virus thing.

---------------

Also, I looked at page 126 and onwards, but I couldn't find the morale system anywhere. All I found was World War 5 and when I joined hegemony.

-----------

Kirby and Mather, I look forward to hearing your histories on the tipithegepedia thing.

---------------

Doom, great history! I liked the part in the end. "Pure power"

Well I think we shouldn't delve too deeply into economic theory. Someone please explain the morale system to me? If it's based on morale, then I have tons, since all the males are too doofusy to think for themselves.

If I remember correctly it was based upon how hard the people worked.

IE. A large defeat would decrease moral and thus your production power, However if the enemy was posturing moral would increase as would production power. Though it would be easier for us all if you just stuck to the all mighty dollar.

The problem with money is that we are assuming everything is worth the same amount of money, but that removes the soveignty of a government to create more money. This upsets the whole equation, as money prices are relative to each other based on the stability and value to investors. We would have to assume that the stations costed a certain amount of money and everything could be converted to it, but then you'd have to set the conversion rates.

That's why we should just manage economics ourselves and remove the money factor from the space station building.

May I also have some of that blood? Also please tell me what you find about their ships, because I want to devise a weapon to blow em up!

Some transports have been sent to pick up some Orz ships and exosuits. Before heading back to Sega-Res/Kajea, the ship and the exosuits will be checked for any beacons (so the Orz can't use it as a trap). Then, the devices will be studied.

Excellent weapon against the 'Orz. Sparks/fire. Burns through their suits and then sets 'em alight.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Well I have already designed incendiary torpedos. Anyone interested in them? I can tell you... for a fee...

Thank you.

seeing as I know very little about viruses in real life, does anybody know if they can survive in ethanol? If not, could a virus be engineered so that it can?

Are you sure that plasma causes fire?

Thank you Dusty. I'm not sure viruses live in Ethanol, which is why rubbing alcohol is used as a sanitizer.

And their anthem is strangely amusing.

Good point, dusty. I'll have a YO15 virus engineered to infect the Urk-Orz in a year, and then I will virus bomb thoses mother-[bleep]ers.

I think it might be difficult to get the virus past their defences. Why doesn't everyone build up their fleet and make a distraction to let Kirby drop his virus? It might take me a few turns at the very least.

Or I could just lend him 1000 Federation Marines. They'll get through any defenses (but will die in the process, but whatever).

Also, Arch, for that space battle all my ships had marine contingents, so idk how they boarded my ships :P

I mean, the Orz were going up against these guys:

I'm actually developing capsules capable of moving at Mach 5, that will be dropped by a larger ship just outside their system. The capsules are slightly smaller then water bottles, so should be able to pass by any defenses un-noticed.
