The Dark Lord
Yes, in that respect it is more powerful than conventional explosives, but it is not world endingly powerful....2 KM is not sufficent to break though the crust of a planet. That's what I was saying earlier. The blackhole is only powerful enough to do 2 KM worth of damage (kind of like a nuke that cleans up after itself), but it isn't strong enough to gobble up a planet. The black hole left a crater on the testing site because of sand. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. The_Mather1
If I were to make a weapon already drawn on google sketchup with accurate instructions, that has existed for more than 100 years today, would be 16 * 3 * 1.5 meter(much larger than the first functional version and about 1,000,000 times the smallest I've seen made by a civilian(it was made to fit a robosapien arm  )) how long would it take? Yes I'm talking a coilgun, my version can be found here, not very detailed, and a few changes I have decided for after text was made: Electromagnet wire is to be around barrel and made from a tungsten-naquadah alloy.Ammo is stated to have a wolfram tip, wolfram = tungsten.Seethrough stuff around chargers are glass(made to isolate all other electrical "exits"). How much time should it take, until christmas? -------------------------------------------------------------------- EM-wireless transport aiming software is now complete, it is now simply to be called "beaming", it cannot beam anything larger than a medium skyscraper. As a first action with it I beam one container-load of fireworks into the sky and detonate. Twitter: @TheMather1

The_Mather1
Half a month for a glorified coilgun? They are simple, cheap and can be made at home small enough to fit a toy, all I've done to it is to add a simple yet destructive bullet that is charged when it exits barrel. But ok, then I'll ask Retech;Hey Retech, when Atlantis arrives at the "terraformed" planet, will you please give my scientists onboard a thorough report of your experiences with coilguns? Tungsten = very conductive, low heat outpu(remember lightbulbs have hair-thin threads which are being pumped to the limit).Naquadah = past superconductive, negative heat output. And ZPMs are done right after newyear. Twitter: @TheMather1
Retech
It would still need tons of power. No matter how efficient your materials are, it'll still be cheaper to launch it with an explosion. Also ZPMs are devices that will cost 3t and equal something near 5,000,000 nuclear powerplants. Twitter: @TheMather1
Retech
I'm aware of that, but there are other ways. Secondly, aren't ZPM's a bit overpowered? Master of your domain?
