(If you want to colonise around the Gallery of the Void, go right ahead, but if it moves, you'll die, so I really wouldn't bother.) I'm assuming everyone here understands that planets are round, and wont question me about "The mysterious nations at the edge of the map". Ross, my colonists are going to expand into that plot directly north of you. Would you mind marking it up for me? Mars overall is hotter on average than earth do the way it was terraformed ( I think) , but it is still pretty cold up past our colony. Just saying. This will mean we can transport larger items from island easier, and don't depend on the weather in the straight. So here it is after checking Japan, All of New Guinea, and I also had some countries in Africa, but Somalia has taken them over so only Tanzania is left there. [if you put up an objection now, I will be severely disappointed] But anyway, I figure 15 years or so of anarchy has not done too much great. GDP has taken a hit, severe one, but luckily most of our infrastructure remains. Should all go to plan, GDP should begin climbing immediately and reach it's old level in around 4 years. On the plus side, I now have around 2.5 million troops trained in guerrilla warfare, which I didn't have before. Japan's navy has been pillaging it's own ports to keep it's shipped staffed and stocked (such is anarchy!), and the air force has been sitting on it's aircraft carriers, so they're not too badly effected. We do still have quite a sum in our treasury, and we're interested in acquiring a shuttle for Mars, if possible. 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I! It'd really help if you put your country in your signiature or underneath your avatar or something. Grim_ Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Malaysia update: The pilot program for UMRF's is going well and we are retro fitting our aircraft carriers so they have more flight decks and vaults to be used for vertical takeoff. Also I would like to annex Vietnam unless someone owns it. If Vietnam is free I will almost exclusively be using my walker corps as the average militia man probably wont have even an rpg much less a tank or artillery. Maybe you shouldn't have taken over almost all of Europe and parts of Africa so soon. Anyway, Findenland would also accept all refugees from Italy because of Germania's invasion. All Italians are urged to leave Germania as soon as possible. Many Danes (not a whole lot) have taken refuge in other Scandinavian countries, but mostly in Norway and Sweden. Findeland scientists also request permission to join in on the Havon Island experiments. We would like to turn most of Findenland above the arctic circle into farmland. It appears Tunisia is unconquered, if so, Findenland would like to colonize it, and use it mostly as a vacation spot for Findens. Our GDP per capita is up to $5876, and steadily rising due to new infrastructure in Mongolia. Riots have ceased in former Uzbekistan. Our Scientists have arrived in haven, and are working on our Solar Wind Turbines. Our tanks are coming along well, and we expect the first ones to roll err... float out of the factory in 4 years. We also have a rocket in development that will put the first Kazakhs on mars in 12 years. they will hold 25 civilians each.
